I know many people on here personally, and never had a problem with anyone. I am really trying to keep it that way..
Thanks for those who are giving me a chance.

By the way you talk, I feel you can do Kingpin good, and I hope that this would never happen again. All people make mistakes, it's just how you handle them to try to correct it before this happens. I wish you guys good luck in the EVO market.

The reason why I didn't post on the forums when it happened, because I wanted to keep this between me and Kingpin. But I got really frustrated when I hear and see different stories what happen to my car. Especially from someone that weren't there at the time. That got me started.... and I hope you can understand that.

I am sure we will meet one day, and put this behind us..
first- i think this whole arguement only did bad for both ur businesses, in the eye of prospective customers!
second- i saw boostedevo8 white evo in vivids shop the day their tech was tareing it apart. i dont know the whole story, but what i heard is that it was fu**ed up by KINGPIN. i saw the rocks with my own 2 eyes
. other then that i have never done any business w/ KINGPIN so therefore i cant speak on their work personally but on what i saw. i hope this is resolved and both of ur businesses only learn from it.

both me and Dave have Mitsu/Suby combo's and hopefully we can help anyone to what they want.

Do not order from anybody that seems to not be EVO JAPANESE related. Even though some manfuctures {aem,dc} in the U.S. sells for much cheaper, but i warn you, in time the quality and performance won't be there when you need it the most. Especially against our [/B]nemesis the sTi. So stick to Japanese related sites and performance parts. Trust me, in time you will regret it. Like all those CRACKED DC exhaust headers.

Sounds like they were just trying to make your engine on Par with their favorite car the STI.

(This is really FUNNY to me.... I am the owner of the KingPINED White EVO... )I told myself I would not post about this problem with Kingpin, but if Kingpin is going to post lies and tell lies of what happen to my car. Then I think the world needs to know, and see photos, live video of when it was towed away from Kingpin to my house, started engine after I finish putting the wire loom back together, fixing my clutch slave cylinder, and installing back my stock turbo. And started the car, and oil was pouring out of the engine onto my garage floor like one of George W. Bush oil wells in Texas. And I video when I called the tow truck to take it to Vivid Racing to fix the problem, and which we did... the mechanic a Kingpin left several bolt loose, and left one of the oil pump front cover bolt out, and that is where the oil was pouring out of my engine. We started the car again, and ran for about 2 mins and the timing belt slipped and the engine stalled, but it was no damage at that time. We had to fix the timing belt, which Kingpin mechanic did not install the timing belt tensioner correctly. We could not stick a pin through the tensioner before we took the timing belt off, so that means the timing belt tensioner was installed incorrectly. We fix that problem.... it was started again.... It ran for at least five minutes in Vivid Racing garage... Vivid Racing mechanic rev the engine to about 3500 rpm about 3 times... We heard rod knock... and when it was back to idle, the engine made some loud knocking sounds and stall imediately! Vivid Racing mechanic tried to start it again, and the engine could not turn, if it was something jammed in the motor. So he tried to turn the engine by hand and could not. He had to turn the engine the opposite way to turn it. Now remember everyone, this is all on video tape LIVE!!! SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE PICS AND VIDEO OF THIS INCIDENT CONTACT ME. We started to take the head off to see what was wrong. First the camshaft bearing caps, two of them with arrows that suppose to face the timing belt, was installed backwards. The head is off, and my new forged pistons were damaged... because Kingpin mechanic used my old intake manifold off my 2.0 liter that had blown up, and broke a piston, and pieces of that broken piston got sucked into the intake manifold and to the other cylinders. When I gave Kingpin my car, I had all spare parts, and it was no need to disassemble my old 2.0 liter, but they did anyways after telling the owner of Kingpin NOT TO!!!! So my new engine had pieces of the old 2.0 in the cylinders and plus 3 little peebles. So we drop the oil pan, and popped rods out... OH MY GOD, the rod bearings were destroyed!!! It seem like the mechanic at Kingpin used Engine Assembly Lube with PUMICE in it. Basically the shop was not very clean eviroment, and the mechanic didn't make sure to have clean hands when assembling an engine. So my crankshaft was ruined, so I had to buy new pistons and rings, and a new crankshaft. Also when Kingpin put my motor together... when we were taking out the pistons and rods, number 2 and 3 cylinders, the rods were backwards, and number 1 and 4 was installed correctly. So if I had driven the car, it would have spun bearing in number 2 and number 3 on the first run. So basically the engine was not an engine, it was a GRENADE!!!!!
So Vivid Racing and I got everything together and the engine is running beautiful and I have no problems now. This is my first time posting about it, and I was not going to, but I got sick of hearing lies from Kingpin that my car was fine and they know it was not. Kingpin's mechanic suppose to came to my house to fix the oil leak, and never showed up, that's why my car went to Vivid Racing because I had a funny feeling that this engine was not put together right.
I am not going to bash Kingpin Performance, I am beyond that. If anyone wants to do business with them, that's your choice. I've heard great things about them, and that's the reason why I went to them. I've had my bad experience, and it would never, never, never happen again and I will just move on. I just don't like when people lie about things and try to get away with it. Wrong is Wrong and it didn't have to come to this. And I rest my case... Thank you

MODS LOCK THIS THREAD PLEASE!
BOTH PARTY'S HAD THIER SAY.
man, this thread is still alive?
i thought the mods locked this.
anyway, if kingpin and the other guy have a dipute about blowing up the engine, they should do the classic duel.
get some old *** guns, count until 10, take 10 steps and turn around and shoot.
the winner gets to talk all the smack that they want.
lol
you know, shlt does happen and people do blow up motor, and it's not always because of the tuner shop, but how the evo comes from the factory, driver, weather, alignment of the sun and the moons.
so lol you need to just f uckign duke it out.
