What's the projected lbs/minute and release date. Stock manifold bolt-up?
it is projected to match the airflow of the existing green, which puts it at about 47lb/min. The 68mm HTA wheel is actually slightly smaller than the current 69-5 wheel. It is also much lighter. Both these factor decrease the inertia of the wheel and contribute to a faster angular acceleration of the turbo.

it will appear the same externally as the current green, no external changes to the turbo, still 100% stock fitment and compatibility.

preliminary testing has shown the 68mm HTA wheel to be stable at 2500rpm and over 22psi without compressor surge, so as of now no eff robbing surge ports required.

Boost ON!

Robert: Can I send in just the CHRA of my existing EvoGreen turbo, or do you need both housings as well to do the HTA upgrade? I live international and the shipping weight of the turbine housing is a killer for me. Maybe I can just ship it w/o the turbine hsg., huh?

In testing what has been the reduction in spoolup time with the HTA upgrade?

Damn...I was expecting something with more flow. For now my plans remain to run the green on the stock motor and when the motor needs a freshening up, I will put on the HTA35r. Oh well...I love my green

The power is there, it just needs to be extracted. With that said, Forced Performance is a PROVEN supplier of top-of-the-line turbos. No offense to anyone with CBRD at all, but the jury is still out on longevity, tunability, performance and quality on anything NEW to the market. Make no doubt about it, Forced Performance won't dissapoint anyone. I for one will be waiting on their next product and will prove once again, they're the one to beat.
I did not dispute the performance of the green at all! It has put down great numbers, your car is proof of that! I clearly stated people say it spools like stock when it does not. I have had the green on my car and was unhappy so I went back to a stock evo 9 turbo which I love. I need spool right now with auto-x. You are referring to drag racing in your post, nothing to do with auto-x.....just pointing out some of the current flaws that I believe could be filled with another turbo that I am sure people would sacrifice the high power for quicker spool and more power down low.

I am looking forward to more information on this turbo and CBRD's turbo...

Based on this comment and any hard testing numbers, how much better will the spool be as compared to the Green and/or the stock IX turbo?

Thanks for your hard work and support!

Cheers,

yes, prices would be good - how much to upgrade a stock IX to HTA Green? Also, turn-around time estimate if you have one, thanks!

On my own personal car, the new HTA green spools faster in a 10.5 than the current green spooled with a 9.0cm housing. Don't know if that means "faster than stock" spool or not. Been a long time since I had the stock turbo on my 9, and I don't plan on putting one back on any time soon

We will share datalogs etc pretty soon. We also should have a upgrade program in place for people with EVO9 cores or other turbos that want to be converted.

I don't know anything at the moment about pricing.

I can appreciate the guys asking about larger versions of this type turbo, don't think that we have not been working in that area also - we have. However it is not my intention to make the EVOGreen into a higher powered heavy hitter than it used to be, only improve it's efficiency, spool and pick up whatever increase comes along with that. Higher power goals will get satisfied by larger variants yet to come.

I can promise you this: There will be no better performing bolt on EVO turbos than ours.

Robert,

Any intentions of making something potent, yet possibly a little less costly? I just have a hard time justifying $1700 for a bolt on thts only going to give me anotehr 30ish hp. I just dont see a good reason to spend that instead of biting the bullet and going for a real kit.

When you were offering the green for $1k + your IX stocker, that was a good deal, but since there were no cores, it required alot of downtime and pulling your stocker off which kidn of made that a dealbreaker for me.
