Yea i would recommend NEVER sending a payment via paypal that is personal to a business unless it is for adding to a balance that was previously paid, or for something that you will not be expecting something to be shipped

has anyone had problems with the money being deposited to their bank using paypal. I got a payment and has been over a week and hasnt hit my bank account. I called 3 times and the keep telling me "it will be deposited tomorrow, you have to wait sir". WTF I am so p!ssed right now.

Did they pay with E-check? That can take a bit of time.

Paypal is such a ***** company. IMHO it's better to use money order as payment for the seller that way money is yours when you receive it. If the seller isn't reputable, paypal won't be much help either way. As for the echeck, it's like a check but electronically transfers the funds to your bank. Results in less paypal fees but more time to clear vs instant payment via bank or cc.

No regular payment and verified account on both ends, I will only be using money orders from now on.

Lancera seller rights have been removed.
Do not buy from him, his name is Hui Yang, and is located in Pittsburgh, PA. After several days to give a refund to the guy he never shipped taillights to, he has refused to make it right.

Here are two people that have been scammed by him, and relevant information.

So I posted a WTB/WTT on the classifieds for some Ralliart Taillights like a month ago. Few days later, I got a response from a guy that lives in Pittsburgh that had a Ralliart phone number 4125194951 that was planning on tinting his tails, but thought he would help a fellow member out by trading and of course for some cash. The guy seemed very nice. He sold a couple things here and trusted him. I told him we would ship our taillights at our cost, BUT we would have to do it priority mail (2-3 days). He agreed, but the catch was that I would have to ship mine first, because he daily drives his car to school. I, on the other hand, had my car stored during the winter time. So its not like I needed it at the time. I already had a bad feeling about me doing this, I had a feeling that I was going to get screwed over. I sent him the money through PayPal and the same day I shipped out my taillights via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days), this was on a Monday night through the Automated Postal Machine. I expected him to receive it on Thursday. I notified him and told him that I sent the money and shipped out the package. He told me he would ship it out the same the day he receives it.

Well, Thursday came along and he tells me that he's gonna stay at school campus for the rest of the week because of a snow storm that they were having, so he doesn't know if they have arrived. Which I understood and was patient with him. He tells me that his brother said there was a package for him and told me that it was probably my taillights. Saturday came and he texted me saying that he shipped out the taillights USPS PARCEL POST (3-8 days). I was like I thought we agreed to ship Priority Mail and he says that he didn't want to pay $4 extra dollars for Priority. In my head I was like are you kidding me? I mean that's not even fair to me. I mean its just $4 more. So I was thinking okay at least I'll probably get it this week, if anything early the following week.

It was already a week and its Saturday. I assumed it would of been here by now, but I know Monday would mark day 8. USPS is usually pretty good on getting packages on time, so i was kinda surprised. I texted the guy and told him I still haven't received it. He was saying that I should of gotten it by now and told me I should talk to the post office, which is kind of hard for me because I work 9-6 on a daily basis and its closed by the time I get there. So I called them on my lunch break instead and asked if they could some how track my package without a tracking number because it wasn't provided to me. The lady said she couldn't do it without a tracking number, certified mail, or if it was done express mail. She also mentioned that it could possibly be at the "hold box" for when the mail man comes to give you the package at the door and if you're not home, they just leave them at the "hold box" at the post office. Well there was nothing there and she was saying how did he shipped it and I told her he did it Parcel Post and she tells me that this was the cheapest way to ship and could actual be 12-14 days, because sometimes they just put it on the side to make sure Express and Priority goes out first and makes it on time. I was like okay well I didn't know that so I talked to the guy and explained to him what happened when I talked to the person at the Post Office. He goes "Did you tell them address track it?" I told him that they need a tracking number otherwise they can't find it. He goes "well UPS can do it." I said that they are not UPS. He also ask me if a receipt would help and I'm like no it will not, THEY NEED A TRACKING NUMBER! At this point, I'm already heated up, I'm losing patience with this guy.

That following Sunday I told him if he can go check his post office to see what they can do and he told me he would go Tuesday. I'm like okay I'll give you until Tuesday after that that's it. I also told him if he could just refund my money and when or if I receive his taillights magically I would either refund his money back or send his taillights back if I had already found a set and he could just keep my taillights. He told me he couldn't do that and said he would be losing money, because apparently he tinted my taillights already and sold it here on the forums to some other guy. I was pissed.

This past Tuesday came and he tells me the person at the Post Office said that I should of received it by now. I told him obviously not, if I did receive it I wouldn't be wasting my time. Then, this is what completely pissed me off. He gives me this bull about me really having his taillights and I'm trying to screw him over and that I'm trying to get my money back and keep his taillights. And I told him "Seriously, I don't know about you but I was raised better than that." He goes "Well how am I suppose to know, for all I know you're just a stranger." Wow... I don't know about you guys but I believe in karma and I would never do such a thing.

So here I am three weeks later, no taillights and $225 down the drain. I don't know what I should do, I was thinking of just reporting him on PayPal since we did a transactions on there.

I don't know who to go to for issue with dishonest seller on here so I'm sorry if I am of a burden if I chose you since you are one of the moderators on here

Anyways here's the story. I bought a used HID kit from lancera on here for a good deal of $35 shipped. I thought everything worked out fine but when I got the item everything changes! The item was packaged fine, no damage whatsover, there was some tabs from the bulb and harness broken but that was fine. However the bulb itself is the main problem. He described it as I will get 1 pair of 10000k and 1 pair of 12000k bulb, but when I got it there was a strange number of 5 bulb! None of them were labeled so it was very difficult for me to manually having to plug all 5 in then take out to determine what color was what, also since these were done at day time, I had a difficult time to clearly see if they were either 10000k or 12000k because they are very simliar to one another.

3 out of the 5 bulb was showing badly signs of wearing out almost dead because the middle portion of the bulb, where the main light source is at, were black!!!!! The leftover 2 was good and clear just as they should be but another problem is they are from two different manufacturer and two different color as well!

As you can see only the ballast, and harness and relay are the only thing that are working (I hope it will last!). The bulbs are useable but VERY VERY DIM! The seller lancera and I communicated via personal email but he is insisting on that he do not have any money for refund or partial refund and that he has spent the money I sent him via PayPal!

I have reported his email address to PayPal and trying to file a claim with this guy. The money is not an issue to me in this case but it is about being honest so I want him to get reprimands for this! I will try to file a claim with my Bank to see what they are able to do!

Is there anything evolutionm.net can do to help me, I do not want others in the future on here to be fooled by people like him again so can you please help me resolve this matter?

evoM seller help..

Hi guys, I'm writing to find out your opinions on a purchase I recently made here,
I bought a used turbocharger and manifold from one member here

The part was announced
"Turbo charger in working order,no shaft play at all"

description was
"These were removed from my car,no problem at all, i went with a bigger turbo"

anyway, the turbo and manifold arrived no problem, a bit late on shipping,but i can understand that with today's life nothing will go as planned,and delay can happen,
I was out of town on vacation when the parts came in, (valentine's present for the GF) so i got aware of the problem much later then i would have liked to...

manifold,O2 housing are in good used shape, can be used once you get 2 or 3 broken bolts out wich doesn't bother me and i would consider that normal
turbo is another story..
WAY bad end play,and a chip missing from the compressor wheel,sent a pm to the seller then went to a reputable turbo shop in my area to have it inspected..
results...
some metal shavings go stuck in the the thrust plate oil feed hole with catastrophic results...
and to top it off it looks like someone got the turbine housing off the turbo not long before the sale,it has been taken out with the help of a chisel, turbine housing as clear and unrusted marks..

I tried solving this by PM and with paypal, i won't put out a name yet to keep him out of problem, i didn't even ask for the whole amount back just something to compensate for the fact that i`ll need to get another turbo..

I might be kinda new here on evoM but i've been quite active on our local dsm forum
Worst out of this ,i usually don buy used parts,but evo weren't available here so i got my parts from a "supposed" good seller over here...

So what do you think of my good condition turbo?

wow thats sucks man, btw what turbo is that? Honestly i would get it rebuild, savesome more and get it done properly, the fins on that wheel are destroyed. If thats a evo9 turbo i would send it in to forced performance and get it upgraded to a red.

turbine wheel and thrust collar are also cracked because of the bad thrust plate, they rubbed way too much and heated way beyond they could stand
right now i'm trying to locate all the parts to get it rebuilted or find another turbocharger...

That sucks, I would be pissed. That's a crappy condition, useless turbo. Not a "good turbo in working order". I'd do everything I could via paypal to dispute it if you didn't get a full refund. Offer to pay for shipping back to the seller for a full refund. The condition that turbo is in is ridiculous...

Just curious. Why would you invest in the 8 turbo vs the 9? I have my old 8 turbo compressor side sitting if you need parts from it. My turbo has a compressor leak(right under the clips) easy fix I believe.

You need to get paypal involved. The product was misrepresented. Damaged blades, no C clip, oil shavings???
