Should Turbo Trix build a better Transfer case

They said they are gonna wait it out a little, see what happens. This was about a month ago.
I think they should do it anyway. Odds are if Mits does come out with a recall, there are many out there who want something bulletproof, and you're only gonna get that in the aftermarket products..

If they did build a better T-Case would you buy it?

Mark was telling me about how the cases come improperly shimmed from the factory. I was unaware that they were planning on building new ones.

I say do it... there's too many people out there killing their TCs while dragging or making big numbers. I have to say I'm a bit paranoid it's gonna happen to me in the near future.

Ok well... I can't find the thread, but John Shepard posted about having a service available for our Transmissions. TurboTrix chimed in, and said that they may offer a rebuilt T-Case, but they weren't sure if they should, because they would waste like 30K on making it if Mitsu had a recall.

Even if Mitsu does a recall, most guys who are in the 11's would be better off with a stronger TC. IMO.

Yes, Yes, Yes!

I' bracket race every friday night. When it goes, I don't want to put 1500 into a transfer case that might break the next month. I would definitely be in! I don't think Mitsubishi is going to do anything about the transfer case.

Hey guys ..

yah we were dragging our feet about diving into the transfer case rebuild. Only because mitsu was talking about recalling them. After seeing the 1st quarter sales for mitsu .. i seriously doubt it though .. LOL .. We have something coming for our race car. If that works out ( which i think it will ) we will all have a good backup plan if our stockers go bad.

Ferrarokid builts transfer cases also, and a few EVO m members are running them.

A few vendors and members offer transfer case rebuilds. Has anyone compared the various transfer case rebuilds??? Is there any comparison data, or reviews between the various products?

It's not the rebuilding part, it's what your rebuilding them with.

Regardless of the recall, I would definitely be in for one of these, I plan on going big, and if I do, an aftermarket one is far better than a factory one! Keep us updated!
