Mod Bashing??? WHY
I would never bann you for using *****, only if you circumvent the rules like this "dumb@ss"
I am glad you love me so much
How long ago was this so I can try to recall the real reason you got banned.

Oh now I remember you from the EI thread. Whatever it was you said was deleted but if I remember correctly you were name calling I believe against me after I banned some people, one of them being SilverMRGrl.
Ironically the IP address you use is the same as one of hers'. Hmm....

yeah i belive your worng! u find the post that i was "name callin" u and then well go from there untill then i really have nothing left to say to u but "KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB MODERATING" ha ha lol
i was banned a while back over something really stupid. it was in the thread about late apex (or something like that) getting the first evo9 in the US.
i was banned for name calling or what ever when all i did was disagree and ask to post pictures, and when he didn't, call him a liar. i turned out to be wrong and sent the guy a pm after i was unbanned for talking crap, to apologize to him.
regardless it wasn't neccessary and while i was banned i went through the thread and found a bunch of other people who were actually saying curse words etc and being extreme rude who didn't get banned.
i really didn't appreciate that. im also not a fan of blonde. he is very arrogant in my opinion. i pm'd him recently, maybe a few weeks ago to explain my self and his reply was something along the lines of "whatever it doesn't matter".
mods and the lack of streetracing allowed are probably the only thing keeping this site from making its members the happiest.
i understand street racing is illegal but just because you allow it to be discussed doesn't mean you support it. things around here need to lighten up a tad.
after all we bought race cars and the majority of us are racing enthusiasts, but should we race on the street for a massive 7-10 seconds for a highway pull or a drag, it can't be discussed here.
more of my time is spent posting on s2ki or my350z or houston-imports or ******* or clubrsx because, while they don't support it, they allow it because people are going to do what they do.
every single one of you has street raced from time to time, and if not at least 95% of the members of this site have so stop being so hypocritical about it. if you think about it, having a kill section would only show people who good our cars are and promote more people buying them, thus more people coming here to buy products from vendors who pay you to post here. its a win win situation in my eyes.
edit: since i was one of the 1000 people who viewed this thread who had the guts to say anything and give an honest perception of the site, i'll probably see you gents in 3-365 days
cheers

Hi,
All comments are welcome and you are not going to be banned for expressing your opinion. (well ... not a long time anyway
). I have yet to be thanked by one single person for deleting a post or giving a time out.
The point being, no one likes to be moderated and threads such as these are usually prompted by recent moderator action involving the poster. You can find a similar thread on every moderated forum on the Internet.
The forum has a set of rules you agreed to when you registered and the moderators attempt to enforce those rules as equitably as possible. The site is too big and the post volume to large to expect the moderators to find every single case of rule breaking. Ninety percent of moderator actions are in response to a reported posts and sometimes we get right and sometimes we don't. Just like a police officer handing out one speeding ticket when ten were speeding. You got caught!, sorry.
IMHO an open forum (no moderators) would be choked with useless comments and flaming; double the size and half the information. And street racing should not be allowed here. Discussing it does condone it and encourages others to develop better "kill stories". How many "nice kill dude" post do you want to read?
My primary concern is that your street racing actions affect every import owner. Why do you think police are pulling over imports for little reason? It is safety issues (street racers causing accidents) being remedied by enforcement. Regardless of the "people are killed everyday in accidents" argument, the public (also known as voters) is demanding politicians put a stop to it. So take it to the track or look forward to only being allowed to modify your shift knob and floor mats. Thank you for your comments.
Speedlimit.......

Thats fine and dandy. I know this is a forum, and not the United States (you know, where the masses decide what they prefer).
My argument was very very valid, and wasn't even given the time of day to see the good that could have come from it. You can complain all you want about people dying and accidents happen, but that won't make anyone stop doing it. Racing is a passion for some. Something say, an enthusiast would do. Wait, did any of us here buy something only a racing enthusiast would be seen in public with? Evo's are pure enthusiast cars. They aren't BMW's and Infiniti's that you can Ball around town in and look like the sh**. Think about it. This site holds back one of the very thing's that made a ton of its members buy it. Also some of us dont have close by tracks and some of us do street race responsibly (as much as possible). The nearest one is about an hour and a half away for me and only open to anyone to use on Sunday.
I'm not alone in this feeling.

Hi,
This thread topic was about moderators and I understand you disagree with the policy concering street racing. We are not changing the rule, so let's get this back on topic. Thanks.

I have had a limited number of run-ins with the Mods, but all were good. I approached one (Fireball) with an issue, it was quickly fixed and I was warned to watch myself as I had stepped over the line also. Definately my fault, and I have learned from the needed lesson. Blonde helped to steer me in the right direction with an issue, much thanks. Admin (don't know which one) resolved said issue in record time much better than I had hoped. This is a great site and I think we all benefit from the oversight from the various Mods. Thanks guys.
actually so far i have dealt with Speeldimit, Malibujacks, and CharleS on here, they all are fair and help full. Unlike some of the evo sites i know, they are all Bias.

I'll say this, as I started the thread, he's not being arrogant he's tired of listening to people ( like you ) **** and moan about a rule. If you dont like the SET rules, post somewhere else. The place belongs to ALI, its his rules and thats that...so because you dont like it you want to lash out at the mods for enfoceing said rule??? Man c'mon they have a hard enough job without having to repeat to you and everyone else that street racing threads are not allowed.
It's a passion, its in your blood yada yada yada... thats great they are not taking any of that from you, they are just telling you you cant post about it HERE.
There are plenty of sites where you can, so just post it on there.

speedlimit obviously blew them off instead of acknowledging any true to them (ie: arrogance) which is why i posted that.
cheers
