If I have some free time I will try and SEARCH to locate the thread I mentioned, it may have been during the previous release.

Will you suggest this to the powers that be then?

and for the record, not being able to create a thread and still being able to post in threads is very fair, imo. it is highly unlikely that any new subjects will be created in any of the subforums at this point, and bumping old threads is so much more productive to the site as a whole as it continues the information/discussion where it really belongs.

one last comment, isn't it great that in a thread started about helping n00bs by answering repeated questions it ends up working out to be us making it more difficult for them to ask the repeated questions in the first place. that's how the world should work, imo.

It was discussed in that thread along with a slew of unrelated things.

I'm certain it has been discussed in the moderator forum before but I can't find it at the moment (Ironic, isn't it?).

LOL I know, I was just commenting on how he's specifically said he's ignoring my posts yet he feels the need to trash-talk about them.

yeah, I was making the point that even though he blocked your posts he is still interested enough in what you say to click the little button so he can push yours

I assume you're talking about me?

I am not clicking on his posts. I can see him posting after me, and then I see people like yourself quoting and refuting him while also mentioning my name. Go back and look - it's not that difficult to see what he's trying to do and how he got totally lambasted.

yeah, WTF does lambasted mean? I guess I'll google it.

- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Search the Web for documents that contain " lambasted"

oh, I see now. you mean endugerated instead huh

and I get what your saying, but he has a point. I ignored sinistersubaru awhile back, and I don't even bother trying to see what he has to say, and wouldn't even think about responding to any of his posts regardless of whether they are about me or not. That's the whole point of ignoring someone.

for your reference:

LOL...Clayton's trying to make a mountain out of a molehill...

Refuting me? It's a discussion about the "search" feature not "who makes a better tire". So what is it I'm trying to do since you seem to know me so well? I'll tell ya what I'm doing, telling you to get a life dude.

Um, can we just close this now? It's not even a technical thread anymore, it's just a discussion between 3 people...

sounds like a plan to me, as long as you guys are looking into the suggestion above in post 35 that WSB seems to agree with in post 45? and can I get the thread in post 39 stickied?

We discussed your plan in #35. It was decided that it would be detrimental to the site on the whole. While we acknowledge that it's a solid idea, we just don't think it would be best for EvoM.

Thread is now stuck.
