Dude you took the words rite out of my mouth..Ive been on for a while and just would rather read then say stuff most the time..Im not *****ing that you have to have 50 post its just that I have posted in certain places alot and they didnt even count...Thats what gets me..Now that I have started this thread they have taken post points away from me and I have no problem or am I complaining about that at all...Im saying the moderator that said I couldnt post ( tight i like it) in the show and shine section was prety much saying there was a word limit on the things i say and it felt like there is some comunist rule or something lol...

Whats all this fuss about post counts? Its forum rule, so get use to it. I've been on here for 3 years, and never had a problem with a moderator over dumb stuff like this. This forum is free, so follow the damn rules or go away, easy as that.

Oh, do I get a post count for posting this reply? lol

They should make it even more... like 200... Someone who wants to scam someone is going to have to work for it and will most likely find another forum to screw someone.

+1 on that one.

There have been a few incidents on here that people have got away with. 50 posts could be done in a day if someone wanted to. Even then I think the people should be limited to the amounts. No big purchases until you have at least 5 good feedbacks.

And what's your point? I've been here since 07 and I never had any incident with the moderators either, but I wish I could at least post in the for sale section seeing that I have been on this site for so long and logged in like everyday. I don't really like to post but I like to read and learn which I do all the time. In order for me to sell or buy items on here I have to ask someone that has posts to do it for me why? Because I don't post? And Now it won't count if you say something like "wow I like your car" too many times ? I'm sorry I love this site but that seems a little extreme. Give a break to those who have a history here for a long time. And shows that they use this site. My opinion.

Nope. And doing that is against the 50 post rule.

Seriously, it is not that hard to post contributing posts. Especially if you have been here for 2 years. You can help someone, post on an experience, or give advice.

Agreed with Smike. Nothing against the veterans, but newbies who complain about post counts are just rediculous in my opinion. And for you being on here for two years with so little post counts is you fault, no one elses, so quit your whining about how you can't posts in the for sale.

I post my expirences/advice sometimes but many times I read, someone already answered the question they would have. Why fill up a thread with more of the same thing? I'm not saying the rule should be gone because I understand the purpose, but if people on here for a long time decides they just want to get 50 to sell some parts because they building there car, why penalize them for doing so even if they say wow nice car. I won't lie I do it why because I'm building my car and I want to sell the stock parts lol. But I can't eventhough I been here for a Long time I get someone else to post in that section. Basically I agree with nismo2grs

......ok??? Whose whinning? I thought this thread was a disscussion of different opinions about the posting rule. See you are the type of person that probly like to bash on people's post giving readers a small fear of even writing. Maybe I'm wrong I don't really care. But don't say I'm whinning when I'm expressing my personal views. And yes I know it's my fault for not having enough posts... I mean last checked I do have type with MY fingers right lol. I wasn't accusing anyone for not giving free posts..... I'll leave it at that. Enjoy bashing on this my friend lol.

Whining ^

This are our site rules. This is a private free site. If you do not like the rules, we are not forcing you to type here.

The Staff thought long and hard with the rule revision. We all weighed in on them. Including this one. If its going to change, its going to be an increase in posts.
