Bob,

I think what Mike is trying to get at is that there is a double standard on these forums. From what I see the mods pick and choose when and who to enforce "rules" against. If a standard is going to be established then everyone must be held to that standard otherwise when someone isn't punished for violations then a new, lower, standard has been established.

You all claim that you want to make improvements to the site and make it civilized. Then I say hire more EvoM police to keep up with demand....AND enforce your "rules" to the letter.

You obviously do not have a problem hiring more and more vendors and advertisers. Why not get some 5 Oh to help maintain the restless natives? Think of it as the cost of doing business.

No different than a police office picking and choosing who they give tickets to.

But that's not the point. You were singled out and now you are on a mission to stir things up and cause a scene. Trust me, I understand you feel "picked on" or "singled out".

If you have a problem with me please voice your opinion to Speedlimit or another admin. I responded to both of your pm's explaining myself and the situation in detail. I'd like to think I have a pretty good track record with the majority of evom members and vendors also for that matter.

My mission is not to stir things up or to cause a scene. I want CHANGE in the way things are done on this site. I made a mistake and oops I got caught. Lord forgive me for I have sinned in the eyes of the EvoM Mods. All it did was empower me to look deeper into the "rules" which upset me greatly that they are not being enforced to the letter. Thus, I took action and look at all of the attention it is getting.

I am a member on many other sites and not a one is as liberal as this one, nor are they as selective in their rule enforcement. I understand the desire to keep things professional, but the line is crossed on many occasions by a lot of people.

Again, one standard...all the time. No questions.

You are welcome, but there was a reason for that other than we didn't want to do it for you. Your request got lost in the shuffle, and you waited patiently for a month (as you said) for us to change it. It took about 5 minutes from the time that WestSideBilly reminded us this week and forwarded your PM until you name was changed. I know because I got his PM, went into change your name only to find that Bob had done it minutes earlier. As I said before, we are not perfect, but once you reminded us it was done instantly.

Well in your case, please feel free to point out any similar instances in the for sale sections where the op is selling for a friend

I take care of those on a regular basis for the reasons I stated to you

What I hate, is going into a vendors for sale, and needing to pm them aout prices. Its annoying and basically I dont pm them/ if they cant list a price and do as required then I wont buy it.

Also on a side note, I got an infraction, for asking a seller why he didnt have any pics. I made the comment how do you expect to sell a car without any pics? no name calling or anything and I got an infraction, if that isnt worthy of raising the BS flag then what is?

I agree, all for sale private/vendor should have a price plain and simple. All FS should have pics.

Let's be accurate here, it was a warning and not an infraction. And I agree, it was not warranted.

posting prices below msrp is illegal to my understanding

ex: amazon makes you add certain items to your cart to view their prices

therefore vendors sometimes can't post prices on new items

used items I agree should have pictures and prices

however the amount of f/s threads we have vs staff is impossible to stay on top of

Not a problem, it's sometimes difficult to see the difference in your user control panel. I have fixed it and hopefully it is acceptable to you.
