Looks like the system has extreme penalties for posting honest comments about a vendor. If this system is working as intended it is a complete sham! It appears that I will be back to zero points sooner than I thought.


Yea, I studied that thread to see if I could learn anything about how the points system works. Unfortunately I really didn't learn anything except that the system is whacked. Some posters gained 1 to 3 experience points for their post. Most posters lost experience points, many lost 100's of points, and a couple lost 1000's of points. It's really difficult to understand why there is such a discrepancy in points for similar posts especially considering that " The system does not judge the content of posts".

All of the posters had a change to their points a few minutes after posting , but of course this is probably just a "coincidence".

 

Was at level 52 and dropped to level 31. I think we have been hacked by those Honda guys.

 

I lost 309 points, and lost 4 levels since then gained 5 points back I am guessing for points.

 

how comes everyone lost -309 points the other day?

 

I think it is because the revamped the system and they changed the way points were distributed

I'll be honest. I have no idea how this point or level system works. I was at level 51, now at some point I went down to 46?

 

Maybe by doing this post, I'll regain these stupid points back? I went from level 50 something to level 3 as of this morning. Meanwhile, I have retained 1600+ posts since joining in 2006! So based on this experience points b/s, some newbie probably has more experince than I should! This is awesome.

This sucks- Now I have to level up again to beat the next level boss.

Ditto. I really tried to enjoy the new system and have fun with it, but honestly, it's just discouraged me from even logging on most days. My daily activity dropped from over 20% down to around 3% ..suppose that probably doesn't help either.

Has anyone notived that some people dont even have the points bars under their sn? If it's optional, I want out please. Its really stupid imo, and has added no value to this forum.
