I don't know if it's the fact that sellers don't know that thread tools are there to close the thread, but I just went through the 1-9 wheels/tire section and almost every one I clicked on was sold. What gets me is that they usually say sold in the last page of the listing.
Is there anyway to clean the FS section up?
I would think its better so people don't waste their time.
I would like to know if there could be a different type of notify button when the thread says sold,so it can be closed.
Okay guys, thanks for your time.

This is what I was getting at, sellers even go back and post that it sold on the last page. So I have to go to the last page to find out, what I was interested in was already sold four days ago.
Just my gripe, as soon as I sell my stuff I close it out using the thread tools.
It's just as easy as posting Sold, LOL

Hey guys,
Sellers can close their own sale threads. There isn't a way we can monitor and close the thousands of for sale threads open on Evom. Unless the seller closes the thread or ask us, we have no idea if the part was sold. Thanks.
Bob..

I think a solution that will help out both parties is to create a specific moderator or two whom strictly deal with the Marketplace area. I believe on the vBulletin boards, you are able to give specific permissions. They can search the marketplace for threads that have since been sold, violators in their posting, as well as help monitor any type of scamming. Just my .02 though.
Maybe it could be included in the listing requirements that the thread be locked after the item is sold.
Of course not everyone will put the effort in to actually close their thread but it could help the majority of people think to do it.
