it's time for someone to cut their losses and call it a night. it's funny to me how mudslinging often backfired and injures the thrower.

in a situation such as this, the bigger man will have the courage to say "you're right, i was wrong, i accept that, and let's leave it behind us"

such a response would engender respect at this point. the current course of action simply continues to tear to pieces any shred of respect that might still exist.

I want you guys to know I treat evom like a serious reference. After this happened I do not know who I can trust. I am positive that any vendor could paypal some money over and get the mods to reccomend a product.

I did nothing but report a problem that this guy is selling the wrong style hood. He even has a picture proving my point...

If the mods are going to let this guy sell evom members the wrong product FINE. If the evom members do not mind, FINE.

If anyone gets ripped off do not complain after I tried so hard to regulate simple vendor problems.

i guess you are right, that is why i spend my time talking to vendors all the time. i edit their posts, warn them, give them advice and tell them when they are wrong. we as mods do what ever it takes o protect the members and we do it out of our own free will. like i told you before, if you would have said that the product doesn't fit right or that you have been ripped off or lied to, i would have talked to Calvin myself and try to make things right. you didn't, you decided to call him a liar for no reason (according to the views posted in this thread).

I find it interesting that you are so upset by being attacked by members here, but in your post you attacked Clavin. There are much more civil ways of pointing out an error. Calling someone a liar is a very powerful statement. Both of you made a mistake in my opinion, but you were the only one to blow it out of porportion. The easiest way to get out of a hole is to just stop digging. Just my .02

It wasn't a problem until the mod refused to do anything and warned me!

i don't remember that ever happened. i warned you and than you send me a pm. i replied saying that i will take care of the warning for you and asked you to stop with this fight. i also told you that i do not see anything wrong with Calvins thread but i will help you out and take off the warning. i don't see that as the mod refused to do anything and warned me... i see it as i did not agree with you but willling to work with you and take the warning off.

With the many repetitive points that the members and mods have made within this thread, its clear that we got the point across many often repeated times. Anyway, these kinds of issues should remain privately in PM's and not brought out publicly (like in this case), which is a bad move on the authors part presenting it out to the public like this.
