Sssssssh, Ssssssssh everyone! He's here...he's here!

Seriously, I don't know where we'd dyno. In Austin, the local Mustang dyno's owner will not "rent it out". They have lost all kinds of pass through business due to this.

In Houston, there is a nice Dyno Dynamics, but the guys want a minimum of around $1400 a day I think to rent it out.

The Dyno Jet in Dallas is very "tired", and in a horrible un-ventilated room. You could see power actually drop as the room became more and more polluted.

Anyone have any other ideas?

I'm not fond of those dynos... almost shook my fillings out!

...and yes, that room is not well ventilated per se either.

Why not everyone just individually call Engine Logics and setup appointment times based on times assigned with Jestr from EVOm. That way each person has a set time that they can pay hourly instead of paying the daily dyno rental?

That would be great in a perfect world... however, I don't know that it would work in execution. Has anyone contacted them to see what their hourly rate is? I'm unaware personally. I just remember the Vishnu tune.

Its on their website, i believe its 140 for the first and 80 thereafter

www.enginelogics.com

And on a side note, I am really hoping to be able to get an estimate of how much everything is going to cost, MZM is offering a solid deal on the Ecutek reflash which works better for me because I dont have a wideband 02, or access to a PC notebook for datalogging or the Tactrix cable all of which would be required for the Jestr flash.

why do you want to go ecutek and paying the ~$350 license fee when you could avoid that by the ecuflash route?

Jestr will have all the tools of the trade when he custom tunes your car - MAP sensor, WB, evoscan.......

Yes, all that is irrelevant stuff that is in the tuner's bag... Matter of fact, I've got that stuff... less a portable wideband (I have the LC1 installed). I'm sure Jestr has a portable unit like most tuners just for these purposes.

Just in case there are still people who have not heard, EcuTek IS DEAD!

I want in on this, but not at Engine Logics. They owe me for a transfer case.

I tuned at Engine Logics when I was in Houston last year. It was still under construction, but it was a nice facility.
