You guys are killin' me! :-D

The window of opportunity is closing... I would like to go. I just need to know where I'm going. I'd like something finalized by next week before Wed. or else we'll just have to wait until after the Holidays (per Zeus' recommendation).

Even though it was a crappy dyno facility, Alamo Autosports let everyone pay as they showed up without even being asked. Everyone just paid Vishnu in advance (guy had to book a fight and a place to sleep), and paid Alamo when they were up. Real easy guys to work with...

Even if we had to hold out a couple of months to wait for Henderson to get set up, I would MUCH rather deal with those guys as I know them to be good people from personal past experience.

The more I think about it, the more I prefer that idea.

Batmann!

Did the person you talked to confirm when Henderson would have the dyno?

I used to drive all the way to Dallas (FIS) for dyno days. So distance is not so much the issue, but knowing that you are dealing with the "right" people is.
I spoke to the guy over a month ago and he told me the new dyno should be up and running at Henderson in about 3 weeks. I'll give him a call again today and see if I can get an update.

Alright! I just spoke to Mr. X and he confirmed that they already have the dyno. However, it is not yet installed because the facility is still under construction - the parking lot needs to be paved so that a Forklift can go in and do its thing, before the dyno can be installed. Mr. X does not get paid unless this dyno is "up and running", so believe me when I say that he has been ready to do this install since last month . Per his conversation with Corey today, he estimates that it would be another two weeks before the dyno is up and running. He told me to give him a call next week to followup on this. Trust me, he is on this like a "smart" bomb on the Taliban!

IMO, I say we give them a month, just in case other issues come up. I think it would be in our best interest. By the way, he is pretty sure that Corey would let us rent the dyno - and I bet we'll get a much better deal on the rental charge, since we'll be among the first ones to use the dyno.

I have no problem waiting a couple of months for dyno tuning at a new facility. I am tired of driving to Dallas every time I want to get tuned.

Just remember though, anyone with a lap top and a Tactrix cable (or knows someone who does) can get hooked up by Jestr with something to "tide them over".
