I've got an email into Jestr to see if he can help with my particular setup. If so, I'd like to join the party. I'd prefer Houston, but I'm down for anything south of Dallas.

Seriously fellas, you will be 1000% satisfied with John's tuning. I couldnt be happier. And his customer service is 2nd to none. No more getting talked down to, no more being treated like your an idiot etc. This guys is a class act.

Damn, I can't remember who it was... Jestr had them at over 400whp on 100 octane I believe it was. I wanted to put a link in my review of Jestr Tuning.

Your right though... Even IF Jestr was was not getting the best over all power out of the flash tuners, his service and smoothness of tune would still make him my first choice!

I spoke with Jestr and he can work with my setup. slowcar, can you add me to the list? I'm down for a tune anywhere south of Dallas.

I'm not trying to take over or anything, and I know this thread started out of Austin, but I'd be willing to get it all organized if we do it at EngineLogics. It doesn't look like we've picked a date or a dyno yet. I can work with Chris (EngineLogics) and John (Jestr) on an acceptable date in January, I'll front the money ($1400) for the dyno and we can organize all the details from there. Keep in mind, it'll be $350 for the tune and an ADDITIONAL amount of money for the dyno time, just depends on how quickly Jestr thinks he can turn the cars. The going rate at EngineLogics for dyno time is $175 per hour.

That is of course, if people want to do it in Houston. Does anyone have an update on the Henderson dyno? It always seems things don't go as planned, and I can see the dyno install at Henderson hitting delays with the holidays and the weather, while we sit here with our thumbs up our a$$ waiting.

I'd rather get this done sooner than later.

How many cars do you all think that we could in a day at Engine Logics? The more cars the more ways we could split the $1400...

Jestr will probably need to answer that.

But this is where the complication comes from on other dyno days I've been to. Some cars take 45 minutes, some take an hour and a half. Do we all pay the same dyno fee, or try to split it based on time? It gets to be a real mess.

It all comes down to the tuning, and what issues arise with certain cars. I've been tuned on Dyno sessions that have been running 3 hrs late. Last time my tuner came down they were running an hr or so ahead of schedule. So it just depends on if there are any issues with the cars on the dyno

Having been to several of John's tuning days I can tell you this. 1. John is a perfectionist. He wants to make sure your car is as good as he can get it so your happy. Thats the type of person he is, so as already stated one car ay take 45 min, the other might take 2 hrs 45 minutes, it just depends. Then you throw in that guy that has boost leaks or whatever else and it takes an extra 30 minutes to tarck that down etc etc etc. That said I dont think he would want to take on more then 8 - 10 cars in a day, thats a LOOOONG time tuning.
