It was at 28lbs and the pipe popped of just a little shy of 6k rpm. On pump gas the hp was still climbing at 7k so I think it could have been a 600hp pull. That's all I was hoping for, if it'll make 601 I'll be happy.

Also I wanted to mention, the only thing that sucks about the v-pro is it can only be tuned by a hks pro dealer. Jotech will be around for a while so I'm not to worried about it, but it is a drawback for alot of people.

Awesome results!!! The more I think about it, I probably should have went with a similar set up. I honestly hadn't seen very many 35R's with great pump gas numbers at or around 19-21 lbs. of boost which is why I picked the Apexi RX6 kit. Your easily at 500 awhp on pump which is where I wanted to be at the same boost level. Currently I'm at 449whp and 351tq at 21 lbs on pump. Nice set up man and congrats!!!

Hey, thanks. To be honest I was very suprized at the low boost numbers. I was expecting something in the mid to lower 400's esp. with the heat and humidity that day. The only thing that I can think of that's different from most 35r setup's out there is the compressor housing we used. Kenny's Garret rep suggested we use the smaller compressor housing that has a 3"inlet vs. the 4" you see on most kits. They recomended this since I'll using the car mostly for HPDE. Even still that makes no sense to me. All know is the car feels way faster on pump gas than my 50trim at 30psi with meth.

Have you ever turned the boost up with that RX6 kit? I'm not sure if you're local to the DFW area, but I'd really like to get a ride in it somtime if you are.

Man that's cold blooded Hopefully I'll be able to start hanging out with you Evo folks again real soon. I shouldn't be driving the Evo now but dang it all I just can't seem to help it. I finally get it back and after driving it for two days the freakin' header cracks. Well not the header actually but the piping that connects to the external waste gate. Apexi has sent me another one which is currently in my trunk waiting to be switched out on Wednesday. They also apologized big time for it cracking.

Yeah that's what I was kind of thinking. Most 35r setup's on pump and at the same boost level's usually produce numbers in the mid 400's or so. I haven't turned the boost up on the RX6 yet because I'm still in the break in period. It only has about 300 miles on it, plus it doesn't seem to be holding boost to well at the moment due to a crack in the piping. When it's all ready to go though I'll be sure to let you drive it. By then I'll probably be running meth again....maybe.

Well evo is broke for now, I'm pretty sure it's the transfer case which is one of the few stock things left on the car. Here is the dyno sheet with 21lbs and pump gas at Alamo.

So the evo has been on the back burner for a while but I've changed a few things since I last posted up. It now has a shep t/c in it and I changed the turbo to a HTA 35r. We added KW v3 coilovers, HRE 9.5x18 wheels, apr lip, a harness bar and 4 point belts, and a few other things. Kenny will be at alamo this thursday at 11am tuning for high boost and anyone who would like to come is more than welcome.

Last time it was on the dyno we had to stop at 28lbs of boost because the i/c pipe kept blowing off at the intake mani. We've since added a wiggins clamp so hopefully that won't be a problem this time. Kenny stopped at 566whp so I hope with the new hta turbo and lots more boost we will see somewhere around 650. Here's a couple phone pics I took of the car today with the new wheels.
