Jotech Evo Buildup, some new pics
So the evo has been on the back burner for a while but I've changed a few things since I last posted up. It now has a shep t/c in it and I changed the turbo to a HTA 35r. We added KW v3 coilovers, HRE 9.5x18 wheels, apr lip, a harness bar and 4 point belts, and a few other things. Kenny will be at alamo this thursday at 11am tuning for high boost and anyone who would like to come is more than welcome.
Last time it was on the dyno we had to stop at 28lbs of boost because the i/c pipe kept blowing off at the intake mani. We've since added a wiggins clamp so hopefully that won't be a problem this time. Kenny stopped at 566whp so I hope with the new hta turbo and lots more boost we will see somewhere around 650. Here's a couple phone pics I took of the car today with the new wheels.

Next time you go over there give me a call, it's not a long drive at all for me.
I know tell me about it. It my fault tho, I let the car sit for quite some time before I took any action to get it fixed. I caught the motorcycle bug again, so I started saving up for that instead of fixing my evo. Poor car sat in the garage for a long time untill I finally got around to it. It got to the point where I had Kenny calling me wondering what the hell was going on, lol. He is a great guy though, and as honest as they come. I couldn't be happier with his shop.

We did both but we had to stop early with the race gas tune. The dyno sheet I posted was with pump gas and 21lbs of boost if I remember right.

Hey thanks for the help, Kenny called today and the car is all aligned and ready to go tommorow. Will you be able to make it out this tuesday for speedzone? It's been forever since I've made a meet so am going to be there. The least I could do for helping is take you for a spin. The suby guys are always great company too

It's bone stock so far, still breaking her in
. I've been thinking about the termi system, but it's so freaking expensive I can't bring myself to do it. I may end up going with the scorpions and a power commander down the line, but I still haven't taken her past 6k rpms yet so I'm not sure if I need the power yet or not. I see you have a S2R 800, that's an incredibly agile and fun bike. It's actually what made me decide to get a monster in the first place. Have you done any work to yours?

It's beena while since i have been on the South forum, but the car looks good John. I put the cams in that night in one of the Evo's that you have had.
Anyway it's funny to see that last set of rims you had with the Re040's as they were originally mine. I bought them new and my Evo was on their website as a demo car.
Anyway I am pretty curious as to what it does whan it gets the big tune in it.
