Sorry I didn't post the results sooner, I've been real busy lately. The car made 624 at 35lbs of boost. To be pefectly honest I liked my old 35r better. It wasn't the typical 35r most people on here use though, it had a .63 A/R exhaust housing, and a TO4E "small " compressor cover with a 3" intake. My HTA turbo has a .82 A/R housing, and a TO4S cover. This hta turbo spools almost 1000rpms later, and sucks at recovering boost between shifts compared to the old turbo. To top it all off when we did the first pull the HTA made 20hp less than the old turbo at the same boost (28lbs). Both Kenny and myslelf we're a little disappointed with its prerformance as it was the only thing changed that should affect power. Needless to say the car is a freaking monster and it gives my cousins 1000cc Aprilia a run for its money.

I'll try to post up some dyno sheets when I get them from alamo showing the difference between the two, its very unexpected. I'm going to drive the car around for a while and enjoy it, then we'll go back to the dyno again and turn the boost up some more, the turbo seemed to have plenty left in it.

So, the HTA isn't all that it's cracked up to be perhaps? I was told not to expect an increase in power when comparing the regular Buschur 35r to a HTA 35r but didn't expect it to have less hp on the same car. I wonder if the conditions outside (temp, humidity, etc....) had anything to do with the results from this run. Nonetheless, the car sounds like a monster and a 1000cc Aprilia is no push over.

I see you have a S2R 800, that's an incredibly agile and fun bike. It's actually what made me decide to get a monster in the first place. Have you done any work to yours?

I got a tail chop, quat-d mid-pipe, intergrated tail light, and custom hedman header tip exhaust painted black (a guy has a video of it on you tube). I have the yellow w/ black stripe. I'm installing a 14tooth sprocket and doing my 6k service this weekend. That's a hell of a bike you have as well, you gonna chop the tail? The termi's are kick ***, I just wanted somthing a little diffrent and cheaper, but you can't beat the sound of the termi's though.

I've been thinking about chopping the tail, but I'm afraid to get started doing any mods on the bike. It's like a drug for me and once I start it's very hard to stop. I've already put 1200 miles on it and decided to take it to redline a couple of times. I was very suprized to find out it's a little faster than my cousins Aprilia RSV-R . It's too bad you live so far, it would be fun to get a gang of Italian bikes together. Seems we have similar tastes in cars and bikes. Do you like petite texas blondes with a cheerleader build also?

Yeah it is too bad, but a bunch of ducati guys are coming from dallas for a hill country ride at the end of this month, are you on ducatimonster.org or ducatimonsterworldwide.org? It's a good place to meet up peeps to ride w/, nothing like a bunch of ducs roaring through the twisties. And yes I do love petite texas blondes w/ a cheerleader build! To bad after two kids the wifey dosen't have that build anymore . Maybe if your ever down this way we can get a ride in!

I had a harness for the passenger, some apr mirrors, a scramble switch for a dedicated race gas map, and a new coupler for my lower intercooler pipe installed. I actually took it to the texas tuner event at Ennis sat, and wow do I suck at drag racing. I couldn't put together a single solid run, and got eliminated because I red lighted, lol. Best et was 11.3 and best trap was 128, but I was all over the place with my screw-ups. It doesn't matter though, I had a good time. I qualified 3rd in my class, and may have stood a chance of winning if I could of been consistant. The first place qualifier in AWD was a stripped out eclipse with slicks running an automatic. Her car ran consistant traps of around 129 so I wasn't to far off. Next time I do this I'll be better prepared with good tires and 40+ lbs of boost. My dumba$$ even forgot to take out the spare, lol.

Yeah, it was race gas, and my "best" 60ft was 1.8. I have no doubt it'll see 10's the next time. I forgot to do all the important stuff like let some air out of the tires, and take out my spare.
