does anyone have a hook up getting a smog inspection sticker around in the dfw area? my evo keeps throwing the p0300 code and when i failed the inspection the first time they said i have to drive it 100 miles going above 50 mph..which takes about 1 week for me and by the time i reach that the code pops back up. does anyone know a place to go or who can help me out with this without me going to the dealer to pay a chunk for them to reflash my ecu?

 

it only takes 15 minutes of highway speeds and 15 minutes of cruising to pass the rediness test (the one thats holding you back most likely).

 

really? so the drive to and from work today should get my car ready to try the inspection again tomorrow morning? it takes about 20 min. each way on 360 to drive to and from work. all my exhaust readings show "not ready", i saw it on their computer when they did it. i think it was because of the creader i had on the car that clears the code...

 

i got my sticker today! thanks kevin! the girl told me i had to wait atleast 15 days before i can bring it back for a re inspect...but what she really meant was i only have 15 days to get a re inspect..so i coulda drove the car around the same day and took it back in the afternoon to get reinspected. but everything's good to go..
