my car was starting to turn pink so i figured i'd wash and wax it this weekend...and guess what's going on today!!!! 20% chance of rain and just it just happened to be that 20% i guess and right on my work parking lot!

...and it didn't even pour, it just "sprinkled", just enough to have lil rain droplets all over the car.

 

I'll trade places with you in a heart beat. I'm stuck down here for summer school and it has rained every three days here so I can't even wash my car and enjoy it. Suck it up!

I love the weather in Austin.

 

I wash my car about twice a month and it does make you feel bad after it gets rained on...but I've learned to just live with it since I'm used to things messing up on me often. You just learn from the things that happen, and if you can't control certain things...then you just have to work around it. The car's gonna get dirty one way or the other anyways. Oh well.

 

Oh I hate it when the car turns pink...

But forget the rain.. how about that gosh darn rocks that get thrown up by a big dump truck and come down on your hood?!?!?

Not only did this one chip the paint and scratch the clearcoat around it, it put a dent in the hood too. Right up by the windshield wipers.

Why does this always happen?

 

I was in the middle of some much needed yard work when it started raining. Now I get to bag everything when it's soaking wet.

 

i washed my car yesterday, and on the way to the meet today it was raining >.<

 

i don't really mind the rain, like it does if you lived in seattle or something..but to rain on you 1 day and then get all that dirt and rain drops bake on your car the next day due to 101 degree temperature outside just plain sucks. atleast if it's raining all the time or if there are cloud covers even if the car's dirty it won't oxidize your car and make your rally red evo rally "pink".

I was trying to avoid the very same dump truck this weekend
lucked out, because it was a dirt clod, not a rock

 

I would take Texas any day! Living in Washington made me lose my color of my skin, it's always muggy, cloudy, and it doesn't just rain, it sprinkles for months... You get 2 months of hot! sunny days from July to Aug after that, good luck! Of course now I live in New Mexico, not by choice it rains, then wind with sand tops it off! You will always have a sandy car, house, patio, etc...

 

Weather in Texas is nice compared to other places. It could be a little be cooler but thats my only complaint
