All the southern metroplex people (Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Desoto, Duncanville, etc..) did ya'll want to meet up at the Wal-Mart parking lot off of 360 and 20, and roll together to the Park? Maybe at 10:30 or so?[/QUOTE]

Sure I'll meet you guys here...

"If I know ahead of time (before the 17th), it's $3 per. After the 17th, I have to buy in packs of 20 for $3 per. Again, I will likely get 40 passes for sure and not sweat it. Really guys/gals, I am not concerned about the money here "

So $3 after? sweet! hopefully I'm included in your free 40 passes

My plan right now is to check out both Grapevine and Lewisville locations on Friday. I'll report back then and will post the Final Final location (lol).

I agree. Especially parking. EVOS together. Don't feel like photoshopping cars out of pics. Plus this isn't a Ricerkiller meet.

I am sure that we can work together on arranging the colors. Can we get over 20 Evos together?

I favor Evos only at this meet. But it really depends on parking area. Just beacsue of the space issue.

If everyone on the first page shows up, we'll have almost 20... I know there are some lurkers here reading this... post up people, we don't bite (unless you like that sort of thing, then I'm sure Chad can accommodate!)

and now my 2 cents...

Sean, is parking limited? If not, we can ask non-evos to park out of the shots, otherwise whats the problem bringing our friends?
Unfortunately, some of the new guys and non-members are gonna be too shy to show up w/out their close friends.
besides, when they see how cool NTEC is, they might buy an Evo

I think the deciding factor should be PAY YOUR OWN WAY
  • re-imburse Goofy for his $passes$, pavillion, etc. I know youre cool, but really
  • eat according to what you brought...$2 cokes won't get you BBQ...even if you do own an Evo

I'm checking on the parking on Friday. I honestly think that that will be the deciding factor in locations.

Personally I don't care if other cars show up, as long as they are out of the shot when we take pictures. Now I don't want hundreds of clapped out dsms and civics rolling up, but if your friends and family want/need to come in separate cars, have them come on out. Heck, I might have to bring two cars simply from a timing perspective.

As far as the money and partaking on at the level of what you brought? One side of me agrees, but honestly I want no excuses for people to not come. Everyone is in a different financial situation these days, and for some people the cost of gas and $10 worth of cokes is all they can afford. I want them to be able to come out and enjoy themselves and have a good time with their fellow Evo owners. Some people like me (and JDW apparently with the awesome list of goodies he's volunteered) have had a good year and can afford to be generous.

My main goal is to get everyone together for a good afternoon. Don't feel like because you can't or don't want to bring something that you can't come.

Now I'd like it if everyone pitched in and brought something (heck, even a bag of ice or a bag of chips, there's enough of us that if everyone spent $5 we'd have a pretty nice spread!)... but I know the reality is that not everyone can or wants to.
