South Florida Lancers - I'm not sure if I can make it to the next meet at the Dolphin on Nov 1. I got rear ended on wednesday and I've got to take the car in so they can repair the rear bumper. If the car gets fixed in time I will be there. If not I will see you on family day... Evo or no Evo.

Hey Hey Hey. Oh what a day!!

I went to the autocross and we had a camera team there from SpeedLogic.net.

They produce a tuner show that appears on TELEMUNDO INTERNACIONAL.

It was really cool. I ended up doing the segment of the show and they interviewed me and I also took them out for 2 laps to show them what the sport is about.

One camera man at a time and they both couldn't believe the sport, and especially the car.

They had been in a drifting car before, and they said that this doesn't even compare. And to think that I only drove at about 80%. (kind of difficult to hold on to a camera)

I was told that the show would be on on about 4 -5 weeks. I'll let everyone know. The website is WWW.SPEEDLOGIC.Net

If any of you are familar with the show, let me know. This was a really good opportunity to showcase the car, as well as it's driving ability and performance.

I didn't win this week, but hey, who cares? My Evo's a Star!!

Danny is the one who drove with me the 2nd time. We strapped him in the back seat. He's the one who said that he had been drifting before, but after my run, he was thrilled. I narrated the whole run for him so that the viewers will know what I'm doing. Not an easy thing to do, but I'm sure the show will turn out great.

Yeah, he was a really nice guy. I'd certainly work with them again if I was asked. I wish I had know that this was going to happen, because we probably could have done a comparision between the 2 cars or something. i know that you have all the mods that would put you in Street Mod or E-street prepared. I also know that you could be fast.

On saturday in the rain, it was almost like a rally (and I know that your a rally guy). Thanks for the words and I hope to make the get together.

 

hehehe...yea - Danny is my homie. Actually I just got Footage that the guys from Tokyo Pop shot of my car and myself in Sept. Hot!! Look out for the footage also on Speedlogic, they're going to share the footage - And HOPEFULLY, if the weather is clear tommorow Danny will be by 7am to shoot an interview and profile of the car before it goes to sema. Went cruising last night... uggh
that bumper is way too low, i was scraping going over speed bumps.... so ill be raising the car a little bit when i get back.

There is an Event in Vegas, Saturday night after Sema. Its a drift thing by the Las Vegas Speedway... If the car mover isnt there to pick up the car, Ill be there to show them boys how we do it on the east side :-)
