Alabama evos? anybody???
I just moved back down south (AL) from NJ. Wow, there are like no evos or scoobies here! I did hear from someone up in B'ham area who told me this, but I found it hard to believe. Well, she was right. I haven't seen one evo yet. That's in montgomery, but same when I was up in B'ham too!
Anyways, I'm new to the evo community. I recently sold my 05 sti , and replaced it with an 03 silver evo. It's stock, but hopefully not for too long. I miss the sti, but am really warming up to the evo quickly. Hope to meet some evo folks once I get settled, I know there have to be some out there!

I would be interested in coming down for that, who do I need to sign up with?

There are more Evos in Al than you think. Many just aren't on these boards and are hidden out in the vast expanses of rurality I've run into quite a few over the past few years.

I got it in NJ, before I came dowqn, but it wasn't a northeast car, as no front plate holes were butchered on it. It's pretty clean overall as well, not as much under body rust as my 05 sti had in less than 1 year.
I enjoy driving a car I don't see everywhere, but it would be nice to see one evo here or there! I will see a bunch this weekend at the Gap though!

I'm here in B'ham as well, but I do not see many Evos, at least not around the Overton Rd/Liberty Park area.
Off topic, if any local Evo folks are interested in a good deal on an AMS catback exhaust, I have one taking up space on my garage floor and would love to get rid of it.

I just moved to AL from the Atlanta area. I'm up in the North east part of the state on a mountain. Makes fun driving for me but, I have not seen any other EVOs where I'm at.
