Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I will be able to make it. Next season I should be ready to go though!

I don't know if any of you guys will be able to make it but my buddies shop, RS Speed Labs, will be having a Dyno Day/BBQ this Saturday starting at noon till whenever...probably till whenever the cops come for noise complaints from the dyno runs...haha...Charlie aka Kreionic just moved down here to be RS Speed Labs resident tuner and they are having the Dyno Day/BBQ for him...my car will be going on the dyno for some adjustments to my pump gas tune...I think Jamie's car will be on the dyno too get his meth. injection tuned, which RS is installing the kit as i type this....so yeah if you guys can come down to the beach and check out the shop and meet Charlie...

Won't be this weekend, but that's cool for me to head down there at some point in the next few weeks to meet everyone and check out the shop. Maybe one of these weekends before Christmas so I can hit up some of the local outlet malls while I'm down that way.

Wow. Nobody's posted in here in a week?

Anyway, just thought I'd share about how differently my car is running since I changed my oil to Amsoil RD-30 Dominator a couple weeks back. When I first drove it after the change I must admit I didn't notice anything. However, when I pulled the car out of the garage the next time I got out of it to get something and stopped in my tracks. The freakin' thing was sooo quiet! The only thing I could really hear was the deep rumble of the exhaust, which was still a whole lot quieter. I drove it a little then and last night and it is a WHOLE lot quieter and seems even more rev happy. Now obviously these are simply observations on my part while driving or standing by the car but I'm liking them so far! My car's motor isn't built or anything, but all of the bolt ons definitely has changed idling characteristics and everything. Right now, I love how it's idling and running.

I would highly recommend this oil if you're running a stg 4+ car or something and or E85. I'll know more when I really beat on it on the street or at a course or track, but so far I'm impressed!

niceee...i may try that oil out next time...I have been using Royal Purple for a while now and it has worked well for me...

So Darlington has 3 days left on their calendar...tomorrow, Saturday and next wednesday...tomorrow is supposed to rain all day...someone on the local MB forum said that the Fayetteville, NC 1/4 mile track will be open all year on Sundays depending on weather...that may be a good option...

I would try it to compare. I can say it looks like it's all it's made out to be so far. LOL! Yeah it's supposed to be a deluge the rest of the week. Saturday is supposed to be sunny and in the 50s here. Don't know about Darlington's weather though. I don't have any plans...I don't think. Fayetteville is getting a little far to travel for a track. 3 hours minimum for me. Made that trip many times.

Damn 3 hours?? Is that 1 way or round trip?? I checked fayettville's website and it only cost $10 to run there!! That is pretty ridiculous, i have never seen it that cheap...I still might head up there if i can't get to darlington before they close...well see...

Oh yeah. I made the run to Fayetteville from Columbia religiously back in my college days. It was 2.5-3.0 hours everytime, one way...
