not really caring how streetable it is in the long run. just want to get it up there as far as i can while stayin streetable and then tracking the hell out of it. i figure the stroker kit, simlpe bolt ons minus the turbo, and some body work........
Does anyone recommend springs/retainers for XSE racemax 272's? I'm thinking of jumping on a set of supertechs this guy on here has for sale for a low *** price. Are they really necessary....I want to do the evo green/20gLT after deployment so I'm thinking I should just go ahead and do them while cams are out.

I haven't even heard of XSE cams so I have no idea what their profile is like. You should only need upgraded springs and retainers if your planning on revving past the stock redline. The turbo shouldn't require any change to your valvetrain.

I got mine, I’m working on it this week end.
On another note. My dad's evo is gonna take $12,500 to fix, so needless to say, he’s done. He's so mad about it that he’s even selling his MR. So well have an a$$ load of stuff for sale....soon.
BDW. Last run of the day Sunday, 12.99/108 with 60ft in the 1.8s, 93oct, 21psi and street tuned AEM EMS. Not bad for not having cams, stock clutch and a bunch of hand-me-downs. Cant wait for the cams and the 35R.
