I ran mine under the back seat and then along the left side under the carpet. Then ran up through the firewall under the fuse box and through the fender well. It's not terribly difficult, just need a coat hanger and some patience!

Well, that means I have to take photos of my car or find someone with good photography skills to do it. I'm not trying to get on their website as a parts user, but as a sponsored owner.
That pic is hot...wish I could get the base commander to let me take a pic on our runway!

true true but its a good start to something big, I got a good cam if you need let me know.
pretty much the same way brian said he did....under the back seat and then under the door sills to the firewall...I decided to drill a hole in the firewall cuz I dont have patience
and used a grommet. It was all DIY and cost me a total of $35 for everything...I still have to finish the tray since its just the bottom right now, Ill enclose the battery later whenever I get some more free time.

H and H has a tray somewhat similar to Brian's for the optima batteries, looks really nice. Not sure how much they sell them for, but if you want something with a really nice brushed aluminum finish, i'd go that route. I know you are big into the DIY stuff though, so whatever you want to do is up to you as always, just an option out there for ya.
oh yeah - is the wing off an '03-'04 VIII??? those are the only ones that are all carbon fiber
