Went up to the meet in Cary...nothing exciting to report. 15 cars showed up with an equal amount of Evos and Subys. We all rolled to the Ale House and had lunch, then cruised home.
That's bout it...

I'm about to buy a defi 52mm Imperial boost gauge(new) and the control unit from a socalevo member and he says that the control unit has no wires. Is this a problem? Is there something I need to buy seperatley to make the boost gauge work with the control unit. He's selling everything for 150shipped.

there should be wires for the box... you will end up buying the power cable for the box, an extension cable for the gauge to the box and then the sensor cable.... will end up costing you i'd guess in the ball park of 200 more to make it work... the sensor kits for the defi gauges arent cheap and the extension cable is about 15 i think, power cable about the same. i'd be a little skeptical if he doesnt have the stuff already if the control unit works. did he show you pics of it ? if its 52 its not the gauges like brian and i have, its the white or black faced gauges that look like the D series for the most part.
here is defi's website to show you what all you need and what the gauges look like

ill be leaving Va in a few headed back home... danyel and i are going out tonight, but tomorrow we can shoot pool if anyone wants !
Sean, if you have the gauge BNIB, then you should have the sensor you need in the box so you should be good. Install is simple, As brian said, whenever you are ready to pull that POS out of your car now, and install the gauge, give a shout
