Tampa's Lancer Thread!!!
I'm glad to see all ya'll coming. It's gonna be tight.
well I'm off to clean up my baby now.....
"until we meet, I'm still the fastest in tampa"
haha j/k...later
Cory, ask other OZ owners if they are running the same rear stability problem upon entering "dirty air". I have no solution, except the wing in wrong design format. Can't really tell until more owners step up, just like the Audi TT problem on the Autobahn.
Next time, if it doesn't rain, we can do more cross R&D work and group pic for both the lancer and mirage board.
Boy, i'm pooped!!!

But the one I did at Circuit city.
Well I'll St. Pet so if anyones down that way give me a cll. If you got IM my screen name is FireFighter1183.
Dirty air is a term mostly used on Indycar and NASCAR about turbulence.
When a car is drafting another, the behind car is within slipstream. If the behind car goes for a pass, he will immediately face head wind and turbulance from from ahead car (wake in the air).
W/o proper areo tuning on a race car, the car facing heavy turbulence will become unstable for a certain amount of time. Eventually, it will be hazardous to drive any faster.
Cory's OZ is facing severe turbulence problem. Everytime he gets out of a draft (even at stock height), the rear end of his car starts to get moderate twitchy. That should not happen to a FWD car, unless heavy crosswind.
Intake does sound great! It's still a beauty.
Rather like the sock idea in the airbox . . .
. . . free mod for an +10 HP and +3 TQ!
