I know on a mirage you can put 17's. For 18's, you're going to custom fit it . . . don't know if Mitsu widened that area within the fender from the 5g to the 6g lancer.
IMO, putting bigger rims on a car w/o improving HP/TQ will slow the lancer vastly down and worsen MPG.
For examples from factory, any stock cars having:
16's = 150-220 HP
17's = 221-280 HP
18's = 281-350 HP
19's = playing w/ the exotic big boys . . . they need all the traction in the world.
That's why you don't attempt to put 18's on a Civic DX . . . it won't go anywhere fast . . . maybe as fast as a fully loaded semi-truck.
BTW: were you last saturday washing your car at the pressure washer place on Lumsden?

Jason about your injen intake for the civic.. I think the pipe might be too short. If anything look at the pipe then look at where it will connect into the TB an see where the bends in the pipe are an see if there is anything that might get in the way of it being ran properly.
Ok, I took the pipe and placed it by the tb and nothing seems to be in the way, but it might still be too short..I'll have to get someone to try and fit it and see if anything gets in the way of it..thanks

Ok, the by-pass valve's purpose is if ur air filter is submerged in water, it goes up the pipe into the valve, and the valve spitts the water out so u dont get hydro-lock.....this does not mean to romp around in puddles and ****, just there for safety for the motor. I loved the way ur intake sounded frank, that **** was fat as hell.....so thats why i am getting it
.........i am getting the intake for 282.28, then 49.99 for the by-pass.....i know im paying a bit too much, but i will have the CORRECT intake TODAY and not get the WRONG one 30 DAYS FROM TODAY
david......i was reading in the parts index forums where u and dudeinamirage were talking about headers and **** for the 97-2001 mirage........dude said that the header should match up correctly for the 2k2 if i am not mistaken????? Please illaberate for me.

No. Dude and I believed the 02 Lancer's 4g94 have a taller deck height on the cyl head (compensate for the longer conrods) compared to the 4g93. The flange pattern should be the same, but the header for the 97-01 1.8 header has to be a bit longer on the downpipe end to clear the engine block in the front and sump pan.
That's why mitsuman (rpw guy) is redesigning the header a bit to eventually fit on the lancer.
Cory,
I'm getting the links to the bulbs soon w/ pic of my original reverse and the Polrarg ones - POLG08 (part #) rainbow chromatic -> visual blue.

compare and contrast the prices.
Beware. I'm not sure about the Lancer's reverse lights. I'm guessing they should be universal like mine and other car manufacturers. See the pics . . . your stock bulbs must have nodes toward the bottomside.
Also, since your lancer's reverse lens are clear (unlike mine are pink, unless getting E5 taillights for clear version), FHP might pull you over for a fix-it tix. I have a bit of an advantage since the pink obsures it in plain daylight a bit. Always have a spare clear ones to travel in another state.
BTW, these Polargs are expensive (at most 20 bucks for the chromatic pair), but they won't fade away like those cheap APC, turning pastel blue and eventually burning all the blue tint away. Mine has lasted just over a year.
Just be careful . . . I don't know how stiff neck the cops in your area. I've probably been tailed a couple times for my bulbs, but they never pull me over for just 1 infraction . . .

dude to save the money, I got some Nokia bulbs for the turning and rev lights. All you have to do is shave one prong alittle to make it fit. Cause the aftermarket one don't provided ours yet...OH and for the by-pass valve, I forgot what it was. Now I do

If so, I can save myself $$
