Tampa's Lancer Thread!!!
Wow, everyone is actually alive. It's like we all dissappeared for a bit.
The hood is a VIS OEM C/F. Nice hood, but a real ***** to install. Spent about 2 hours drilling holes in it right away to put all of the gaskets and the heat sheild back on. Also addes a WORKS port matched throttle body and 3" ceramic coated D/P.
I may go to the autocross. Let me see whats going on this weekend.

Sweet Man. what exactly does the port matched thottle body do. I don't see anyone else with this mod or even selling it. How much HP. After the intall woes, do you like the fitment of the VIS? and Overall quality? Got any up close pics. I think I am getting one soon!
I'll take some close ups in the next few days and get them up for you. It does look really good. A bit heavier than the stock alluminum hood though. Would look really good on your red evo.
Here is the info on the throttle body:
Aperture
Description: There is a science to correctly sizing a throttle body, and WORKS has invested countless hours of research into this area. The result, a significant reduction in the Pressure Differential before and after the throttle body that adds horsepower to your EVO and pays even bigger dividends as you add other tuning parts. In addition, the Aperture provides quicker, crisper throttle response. WORKS leaves no part of the EVO untested and the reward is real power (10HP) out of a simple solution. Complete with new factory gasket and simple installation instructions.
Price: $349*
*Complete throttle body core must be provided to WORKS on an exchange basis. Or a core charge of $700 will be added and when an acceptable, complete core is returned within 30 days, the core charge will promptly be refunded. Otherwise the core charge will be used for replacement.
Availability: In Stock

I think I am moving.... These hurricanes are draining me man!!!!! I have been here all my life (26 yrs) and I have never seen anything like this. I have so very blessed and have not have had significant damage... Lost a tree and during Francis our complex flooded for 4 days and I could get my car out of the driveway, but overall I have been lucky. Still this is so rediculous!!! I know you guys are feeling the same...
So much for my first autocross in Z-Hills, it was canceld of course.
