Hey yellowlanceroz, didnt find much stuff for the lancer on your site. Anything else except for a bodykit for the lancer? let me know. I am thinking about buying the bored throttle from rrm or rpw (i forget) and maybe get some ecu work done. Does anyone of you guys locally know of a cheaper route for the throttle? and ecu other than the piggy back? oh and yes the PR does stand for Puerto Rican. You mispelled the boricua but thats cool. i know what you meant.

 

well just found this thread. but wats up my fellow floridians? lol. im all the way in ****n deadtona (deltona ). the only thing between deltona and tampa are TREES! so i guess id have to drive all the way over there if i wanted to meet up unless you all pop by orlando. i dunno but ill stick around this section more often to see whats up.


i do have a question though. i was looking at cardomain and was checking out the parts just cause i get bored like that. i noticed there is an air intake system and a cold air intake system. i tried reading the descriptions to see what the difference was but they basically had the same thing. what would be the better pick out of the two? i also saw someone mention to me about short ram intake (i think thats what it is). didnt see it on cardomain but where would that stand in the intake level? better? worse? or does it depend?

prlancer.....anything u dont see up there and let me know and i can get a price for u....however i dont have an account with rpw....im in the works of setting an account with road race....every day im adding more stuff on there...right now i have close to 2000 product on there and working to get alot more....also sell rim and tires and strobes which are not on there....so again let me know...

well the purpose of a cold air intake is to bring in the cooler air from outside of a car to give u better performance and the short ram just bring in hotter air....everyone has there different opinons....personally i like the CAI over the short ram....but again we are in florida and u have to be carefull with the rain and puddles

 

Yeah i have a short ram right now and well its true what they say that all it does is suck in hot air which hot and cold of course cold is best for the engine so some people prefer the CAI vs the SRI I am getting a CAI because i want my engine to run as cool as possible. There are people out there that say there is no difference between the two so like yellowlanceroz stated above, everyone has their own opinion.

 

btw i do sell both the CAI and SRI for the lancer

 

went up to target tonight and only stayed thwere for abuot 30 mins...its alright.....sat night torque might be rolling with me to take some footage for the next dvd they are going to make...they want some footage of street racing...so if u know any places please let me know

Jab I really want to go to the track, but this weekend I think I might go to O-town to get my car on the dyno. I was looking at tire rack today at some 235/45/17 Kuhmo Exsta MX tires for my stock Evo rims for track and AutoX days. Whaddya guys think of those tires. They might not be the best but I heard for the MOney they are tough to beat without blowing your wad.

 

Merc... To get to target from 275 heading north, just take the Land O Lakes Exit (the exit just after 275 and I-75 merge back together) which is SR 56. Exit then turn right (East). About 2 1/2 miles down you will come to a stop light. Turn Right there which is SR 54. You will see a publix on your left. Drive another 1 1/2 or so and SuperTarget will be in a huge shopping center on you right along with Petco. I am going to try and be there next week.

What up? Dude do not get another OEM clutch!!!! With your mods your just going to keep going through them. Get the ACT man, you'll love it. You can drive mine if you want to test it out, just ask Luis. I have no ability to put a clutch in. I know Vtech8tr is going to be out of town for a week or so after this weekend. Just shoot him a PM cause he doesn't pot much here. Its alot of work to put a clutch in bro! What Mitsu dealership did you go to? Did you speak with JOhn at Brandon adn tell him they need to fix your syncro under the TSB, and while they have it open anyway they can put in your clutch for you since it's open anyway. You can tell them you know the guy with the Red Evo that they did it for me. tell them you give them 150.00 bucks! Tehy can just basically pocket that anyway because the tranny will already be open to fix your 5th gear syncro under the MItsubishi Technical Service Bulletin!

 

haha. i plan on getting the act with fidenza (sp?) flywheel..
i'll call the brandon mitsu next week. and see if they can do it or what not. hopefully. i rather spend 150 or so and get the thing over with then have to try for 3-4days.. haha. *like the cam install* haha. shhh. no one knows..
oh. speaking of the tsb. i took it to the clearwater one. they said it was my clutch slipping thats why i get grinding in 5th. i was like omg. but he was cool about mods tho.. i guess they dont want to get paid for the tsb? so gonna give brandon mistu a call.
