Can you do me a favor Bob, see how much a garage is per month, and if they have any available. And if it's alright I'd like to leave you the keys.

Yup.. I'm pretty sure they are 100 per month. I'm not sure about the availability. I'll check tomorrow afternoon for ya! You decide on a clutch?

Nope, I'm pretty undecided. I'm leaning towards a new Exedy clutch/ flywheel. Just playing it safe.

Well, that's why I went exedy. You can rebuild them, and Ive never heard of getting locked out at high rpm's. You already have one, so you know what they feel like. I like mine enough to recommend it to anyone...

Well I thought about the rebuild kit but it just replaces the 2 disks and I need a flywheel too. I also thought about what if it's more than the disks that is making my clutch slip, like a spring or a pressure plate. I also don't know how old my clutch is or how hard it was driven before I bought it, so if I just get a new clutch that will put ease to my mind.

it would still be cheaper to rebuild the exedy.

new discs are about $400 or so... floater plate is about $100 if i remember right. Your pressure plate i believe is $200 as well.....

Now, chances are, you will only have to replace the disks. Just have the flywheel and pressure plate resurfaced.... and thats it.

If you end up ditching the exedy... do not..... DO NOT..... DO NOT throw it away like i did my first one.

You can sell it for probably $400 on the boards. Just clean it up and take pics and let everyone know that it needs a rebuild kit.

Andrew...I can't do a shep anything trans. He doesn't do crap for the 6 speed. TRE is talking about doing mods for the 6 speeds. But as of yet there isn't anything.

The apts here used to allow people to rent garages. But now that the apts are full, the garages have a waiting list and they only rent to tenants. Sorry!

Jason, you get my email? It's got 3 logs of the car acting all crazy like! hahaa

I actually think I can make it home on my clutch. I just take I-40 all the way to Tennessee and you don't really use your clutch while cruising. But I'll more then likely stick to storage or TMO.

I think I've decided to get a rebuild kit and get the flywheel refinished and call it a day. Then I'll get red, meth, and injectors. And if I have the money, get a Shep trans. I'll get it installed the same time I get the clutch done.
