Since my car is still down I figured I could at least help it's progress a little more. The Evo 8 has horrible tail lights and figured I'm not gonna spare the cash to purchase a set of 9 (JDM or USDM) and I don't care for the 7 tails. So.....




























So more people know about it, you CAN take the tail lights apart WITHOUT a dremel. I still need to do the other tail light (I ran out of flat black). If anyone has 8 tails and is interested in doing something like this just let me know and I would be happy to help!!

Bobby has the parts I bought from STM. It's the EGR block off plate and the clutch plate for the Exedy clutches.

 

Yeah, Justin you guys saved my a** by knowing about the issue with those cams. Dude, that pic of the conn rods hanging from your chain should be your next shirt idea! Which rods are they?

 

Anyone have any need for an AFI intake pipe w/ recirc fitting? It's for NON acd equipped cars. It came with my turbo kit, but doesn't fit my car because of the acd reservoir. I'm going to post in the for sale section shortly..

Man I would totally go, but the X is in the shop, after they rebuilt the motor, it kept having an oil leak, so they finally fugured it out yesterday as the day was coming to an end, and they said it wouldnt be done till mon. Man I really wanted to get a base dyno before I put everything back on her!!
