Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
Good to see everyone who made it out to the Evo Meet at Leith yesterday. Definitely a better turnout than I expected. Pretty good RalliArt turnout as well...
The Leith guys were actually pretty cool as well. Other than a couple of questions of "Who does your service?" they didn't pester us, and they had pretty much unlimited hot dogs with toppings, bottled water, and Pepsi soft drinks (although I prefer Coke). We even got Evo t-shirts and swag bags just for showing up...
Overall, a pretty good time talking with other Evo and Lancer owners. Leith is talking about doing this twice a year going forward...once in the Spring and once in the Fall, as it was quite hot yesterday. Hope to see you at the next one!

I agree, Leith did a great job at putting things together for the event an to make owners feel welcome and appreciated. The food, drinks, door prizes, DJ, Majestic Car Care and more was great and more than expected. They even had a bouncy house for folks that brought their kids. It appears they really took time and effort to make the event successful. It was a nice turn out with over 20 Evos before the end of the event. It was great to meet with folks I knew and new folks I did not know.
I think doing this twice a year is a great idea and a great opportunity for everyone to get together. Looking forward to the next one.
Going to shoot for attending Cars and Coffee next Saturday.

fyi..... I had the local dealer call me about my old IX for a potential passenger side airbag recall and an ECM reflash.... won't hurt checking with your local dealers on the airbag recalls!
