I saw your car when I went by the shop the other day... nice setup! Can't wait to see it when it's ready to go.

Thanks man, your car sounds pretty nice from your list of mods too I wish I had some upgraded wheels, tires and suspension as well... Trouble is, I'm running out money
Anyway, I hope I have my car ready for Friday. At any rate, I think I might get it even if we don't have the upgraded upper IC piping and the HKS SSQ BOV. I'm getting antsy about driving my EVO again (BTW, thanks again George for the extremely good customer service )
I hope to see all you guys Friday at Boost Solutions.

Heads up. Motorcycle helmets and racing helmets are 2 differnt things. If you do not have a Snell rating on your helmet tech will not pass it.
Funny thing is though the guy at the ticket booth never checks it after you run. He just asks if you have a helmet.

Thanks for the info. I think I will keep my helmut since it SNELL rated and I may want to do autocross and they will always check to see if the helmut is snell rated.

Any good helmet will have a snell rating. It does not matter if it's a motorcycle helmet of whatever. The guys at the track do not check to see what kind of helmet you have. They only want to see the snell rating.....

If you run any time under a 14 second run you will be requested to have a helmet on your next run or you will be no longer able to run again.
See you guys there. How about we all try to park in the same area this time.
Bring your Sti I know we had about 2 or 3 Sti's last time we went 1 even broke into the 13's he did a 13.861/4 good time for that track for an Sti most where running low 14's. A lot of us Evo guys admire Wrx's and Sti's also.

So we are gonna meet up at the track then? Hey Mike, do you wanna park in the same spot as last time? I should be there before 6 w/ another WRX or 2. I am going to try and get my friend w/ the STi engine in his WRX to come along. He put his upgraded turbo and other parts on the new engine, but he is still breaking in the new clutch, so he can't run.

Yeah if there is no one in that spot it would be good. I guess look when you get there for more Evo's and we will see.

Yep, 13.99 or faster you need a helmet. Generally speaking they won't kick you out for the first offense, but they will the second one. They generally don't spend a lot of time checking the helmets for their Snell rating. But I have seen them do it before at Commerce. Often times it's luck of the draw. 95% of the time have a helmet in the car with you (front seat or on) after making a 13.99 or faster run, and your good.
