Damn I wish I would have come. I thought I would be in the 12s or at least a 13 flat. Maybe not at Commerce.

134mph trap, so what was his time? Just curious. I have seen Vipers run high 12s before meaning they could be taken by an Evo, but this one sounds special.

It was either turbo or super charged. In the video my girlfriend took it sounds like it has a blow-off valve (makes a wooshing noise). Others were saying that they saw the engine and it was turbo or super charged but I can’t remember which one it was.

George said he talked with the guy and he said it was supercharged but I know that car was a turbo Viper because of the blowoff valve. But what do I know. I think George and the viper would be a close race

I talked to VIPER owner while wating in line. The only mods he did were bolt ons (header, Intake). Otherwise the car was stock. He told me this was his first time running car on 1/4 mile track and that he has run on 1/8 mile track. He also had a racing harness in his car. He was cool guy who was only in his late 20s to early 30s. He had the RT/10.

The last run he did a 12.0 1/4

That car had some kinda forced induction, to run a 134 trap = 700+ HP, hell the bikes were only turing 144 trap speeds. it's like saying a stock evo can run 115 traps because a stock viper traps 120

Guys,

I personally talked to him, and he SAID iot was supercharged ( not just bolt-ons, snoop). BUT, we heard a BOV, and no whistling, so it ha dto be turbo. Alos, the fatsest supercharged Vipers are about 600whp, and this one was quicker. Also, the exhaust was quiet (turbos mufle the sound).

Supercharged Vipers can put down 1,000 HP and most do about 6-800WHP here is a link. The turbo have a lot less noise. I have seen both.

I agree, but this one sounded too quiet to have a big supercharger. I am sure it was turbo.

Yeah, it was turbo.

And I am glad you killed him like that off the line.

Either way, that Viper was pretty beefy sounding. Definitely not something you want to meet on the interstate.

I have some pics if you guys wanna seem them. I just have to upload them. Mostly pics of the cars lined up at the tree.

And this Friday and Sat. is Fast Ford (if there is such a thing, lol) and on Sat. nights, the guys cruise around. I might go there to stir up some trouble. Anyone up for tagging along?
