Well, it's your prerogative to think that. However, these discussions have taken a nasty turn and I think that some of your posts were very critical of George's handling and tuning of my car...

Now, I know that you were showing your concern for a fellow EVO owner when you contacted me about the AEM EMS and George's experience and ability, but really, all the facts were not out and all the work is not finished. Until all is done and the final results are know, all these posts are going to hurt George's reputation and his business.

I'm not posting all kinds of complaints and histerics about my car to the whole forum. I think it's a shame to post about my car when I'm not even doing it. Trust me, if I was getting all freaked out about it, I'd be writing, crying and b!tch!ng for all to know. The fact is that when one goes about doing all these mods to a car, there are always going to be problems and issues. I'm prepared to deal with them and George is doing all he can to do a first class job.

I don't care if George ever takes his car to a dyno or to the race track. If that's the problem then you all can go ahead and fight all you want. As for my car, let's wait and see how it turns out. I'm willing to wait so why don't we all do it too?

Peace,

Manuel
Manuel, do you want me to schedule your car on the dyno for the same time as mine?

We really need only 3 pulls each.
Actually, I will do just ONE pull. Let see what a road tune will do

The dyno is not on Saturday. If Manuel is Ok with that, we can allow visitors at his dyno pulls, but ours will be closed doors.

dude, you will see the dyno sheet, do not worry...

Also, we are going to a dyno tune session. I will be pushing the car to the limit, so I will not have time for all these quarrels there.

You want to see the tuning in person? 15th of MAy is the day...

I WILL BE THERE JUST for MANUEL on the 15th of May....!!!!!!!

AEM stands for Advanced Engine Management, not Advanced Tire Repair

I just do not like double faced people. Todd at least hates me all the time
If you want to come in, please act normal. The only thing is , I do not know which Ryan is the real Ryan: Ryan McDonald, that is always nice in person, or 2slowevo/Dynoking/etc that is always bi***ing online at people....

Everybody else is invited.

One more thing though. Limey DID NOT like the idea of us spraying nitrous, so he might not let anybody else in the shop.
The dyno is on Monday, 3pm.

Saturday we are busy! We are tuning an AEM on a T66 Eclipse...

go job George, I don't hate you I am not sure why you think that but I don't. If you go to the dyno day I will talk to you but not be an *** about it I just want you to put it on the dyno that is all nothing else. The reason I said the tire comment is that you want to sell everyone an aem. if you did not try and push it so much I would not give you a hard time. just want to to see what you can do.

Todd, I am glad we are straight!

Like I told you, I cannot put a car with that dyno on teh track or the dyno with NO TOPEND tuning. I know that many people do not realize that, but our turbo can BREAK the engine easily.

Now we have over 1000 easy miles, copression and leakdown is tested, so we are ready to go to the dyno now

About the AEM - I always recommend AEM, Autronic, and motec. But when customs ask me what are the differences, and prices, they always go AEM.
I have tuned both AEM and Autronic. Both a good, but AEM is more user friendly ( like that example that Ryan gave me).

If I have to test a different ECU on tehcar, I would do HKS VPro, and Motec.

Andy drove teh JUN yellow Evo with teh Vpro, and was not that impressed though. But I am sure that is all tuning. The Vpro is the BIG DADDY in Japan.

George

Here is a dyno chart of a HKS T51R SPL on a 2.6l GTR with cams and VPro. 28psi and 104 octane. And that turbo can make effieciently 3.5bar boost ( 50psi). No nitrous...

Very "close" setup:
- 2.3l engine
- same turbo
- high lift cams
- AEM EMS ( as good as the Vpro)
- 40psi boost only
- 36psi with 150 shot of nitrous

The potential is there...

Hi George,
I'm fine with the dyno session you scheduled. I don't want my tuning session to be open to the public. Let's keep this simple and just the people directly involved. I plan to be there im May for the Shiv tuning fest and do some base line pulls. Everyone is invited to see that
