the 'Pipes' is where the air is being dumped to in a re-circ type setup(By-Pass / Blow By Valve), it can also be dumped out of the system (Blow off Valve)

Go do some more research on what route you want to go with.

BOV will most likely need to be tuned for (will richen up excessively during shifts), and hampers engine performance every time you shift up (as the turbo will need to re-spool) only needed for high boost operations

BPV is a better choice for most cars, air is dumped back into the intake system, aiding the turbo lag when recovering from shifts, keeps air in the engine and prevents engine from running too rich.

so the package he sells is a BOV and BPV combo?
install the valve alone = BOV
install the valve + pipe that connects to the instake = BPV
am i rite?
so either way , it will fit my car? thx~

The 'pipe' is welded to the intake from what i can see.

U can block it off, and vent the valve to the outside if u want i guess.

Does the Evo and the ralliarts share the same intake system?

BOV for 09 ralliart

What is the better choice for BOV recirculating or Atmospheric blow-off? Someone that really knows what they are talking about.

But what about that loud BOV serge that boosted engines are ever so famous for? How do you get that with recitculating back into the intake? Also I needed to know if anyone has intstalled an intake without having to move the battery to the trunk. I am so tired of the stock intake

there is a BOV for evo X and RA that recirculating and also venting out air. i think its made by forge. you can install an SRI, so you dont need to move the battery.
