i got mail from the city of hamilton for a parking ticket - i called them and told them i've never ever ever been to hamilton (other than driving through) and that there's absolutely no way i could have gotten a ticket there

the lady on the phone confirmed that the car that got the ticket did not match my license plate and cancelled it on the phone - i think they mis-typed it into the computer

i've watched the city of brampton people write parking tickets and they take pictures of your car with the sign

 

I got multiple tickets in the mail for not paying tolls on a toll road I didn't even know where it was. They just had some of the license plate and not all of it I guess…or someone else besides me was joyriding in my car a couple hundred miles away

 

too bad you can't sue the cop for wasting the court's and your time. lol
