remember diiirk also tuned it right after it was installed.
So if you do a pull on a cool night rolling in fourth gear and hold the throttle to redline you dont get any boost creep what so ever?

any car with a boost controller will boost more on a cold night, especially in 4th gear. but that is not boost creep. boost creep was in issue with certain dumps not having enough room inside for the wastegate flapper to fully open, with half open wastegate, boost rises after peak boost, rather than taper like it should. just one of the many things that were kept in mind when making this dump, setting the shearer apart from the rest.

But there im torn between the two opinions of 2 reputable shops.
Thats the thing about the forums.
One person says one thing and another person say something else.
The only way to really tell if it work is if you try it out.

The difference is we have actually tested this exact piece.. While i have GREAT RESPECT for Dave you cant knock something til you try it and he knows that as well as anyone.. Once results start posting up i am sure you be able to make an easy decision..

Btw.. The EPM dumps did work also but they didnt fit as well.. There are Dozens of reviews on HP gains with it..

I installed tonight the car pulls harder on a roll in 1st when boost comes in its spinning the tyres easy but I will be removing tommorow and putting it up for sale locally. What I noticed is that on idle I am leaking through the dump not sure if it is suppose to be so or if my wg flapper is not sealing proper, its just too loud for me.

Did you put the factory 02 gasket on with the dump?

It was leaking through the center of the stock gasket.

You either can put JUST silicone all around the flange or get a "ebay" style gasket that keeps them separate.

Just install it without any gasket or silicone crap at all. It's milled perfectly flat, and as long as your turbo mating surface is flat, you have no worries...
