It baffles me that you could not already know this as much as it's talked about and when it's listed in plain view on Dynoflash.com . It's $199 for a mail-in on an VIII and $299 for a IX. They cost less in person when he's on tuning trips ($175/$250).

Hey did you see if you mpg increased or decreased? I would like to hear it from somebody who just got the flash since my buddies have conflicting stories.

Thanks

The flash only affects open-loop operation, which is when you're at WOT, so it won't affect your daily driving MPG one way or the other.

Hmmm guess my buddies are wrong, they keep insisting my mpg will either increase/decrease.

Maybe once I start adding WOT to my daily driving it'll make a difference.

That's the thing, it depends on how you drive. If you go boosting all the time, you will not be as rich while boosting, but you're still boosting more, which sucks up more gas. If you never boost, then you'll get good gas mileage, but it won't have anything to do with the flash.

The mods I did are on my signature, but the ECU still stock. You think Xede can come up with some maps for such a diferent type of fuel?

Any ideas?
You have a PM.

Glad you enjoyed the flash

My tuning has really taken a step up in the last few months, back in Dec and Jan at Buschur Racing we made a few new strides in code manipulation which have really shown some great results

BTW - we did another IX dual stage custom tune today on member Luxury Broker's car - that is one great machine

Enjoy and keep boosting !

When you change your mods $100 will get you an upgrade flash

The money you save with this methods of tuning you can invest in your IRA or just spend it on more mods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
