TTP flash Pt2!

Well guys I wake up this morning and of course Speedlimit closed my thread. Do you want to know why? I said I was going to kick someones *** if my thread got closed. I said this last night when Al was going nuts and vendor/tuner bashing and calling people names, he just wouldn't stop. But you guys won't be able to see this now. But of course it didn't get closed because of that. So here is thread # 2.

Well were to start. Just to make things clear I am stating facts in this thread. Names will be used (for customer purposes) but you will find no bashing. So mods you have no right to close this thread.

Now that I got that out of the way.

The first flash I had on my car was a mail-in Dynoflash. I was happy with it and ran a best of 12.9@104-105.

I then added some mods and a custom Dynoflash on Buschurs Dyno. Best run is in my sig. That was 100oct 25-26psi.

I still thought my car should be doing better with the mods. I then sent my maps (pump&racegas) to Scott@ TTP to look them over and make sure everything was in line.
He determined on the pumpgas map the timing was WAY to aggressive. So I did some Evoscan logs sent it to Scott and he said there was definately knock present in 4th gear. So Scott optimized my map and sent it back within 24hrs

I just installed the upgraded map tonight and took a drive. The car feels a lot smoother through the whole powerband. Once I hit 5k the car pulls harder then before and just keeps going, haha.

I will be going to the local track this weekend to validate these results for you guys.

I'd like to say thanks and great job to Scott from TTP.

Alright well i'm headed out to the track right now. I'll be posting my results later on. I'll post my old Dynoflash slips and new TTP time slips so you can compare.

Wish me luck!

That was not the reason. The thread had several posts removed and was detoriating into a vendor bashing between vendors. As I stated in the PM, if you don't like the vendor bashing rules then write the owner.

And this thread will be closed if it deteriorates into another all day drama without any purpose.

Well I just got home from the track. Todays purpose was to log all my runs with the Dynoflash race gas map and make sure I can squeeze out the lowest times possible before TTP changes the map.

I did 3 passes:

1. 13.10@110.16 60ft 2.18

2. 12.76@110.19 60ft 2.09

3. 12.51@110.03 60ft 1.73

All were done on 100oct 25psi

After the track I logged a 4th gear pull from 2500-7000, there was alot of knock! Have to get that fixed asap.

So as you can see i'm still stuck at 12.5 just like all the other times I went to the track.

Tomorrow morning i'm going to the track again equipped with the TTP race map and we'll see what happens.

Well, good luck tomorrow. Hope you'll see some higher trap speeds when you reduce that knock. Also please, especially you Al, if you have to post keep it civil so this thread doesn't get closed also.

I have the graph of the knock but I don't know how to post pictures. Can I send someone the graph so they can post it?

Just out of curiosity are you using a simple boost gauge and MBC or do you have a EBC? Just curious because 26psi seems high for 100 oct. Was it a mix or do you run 100 all the time? did you try turning down the boost alittle, like 24-25psi and see what happened? Ive felt timing being pulled on my car running 110 oct. and 26psi. Just trying to figure out why so much timing is being pulled and your times are so bad.

I'm running a Hallman MBC and simple boost gauge. Todays runs were at 25psi exactly with 100% 100oct.

Modvp will be posting the log and knock graph.
