I just wanted to thank Chris from MELLONTUNING. Guys my best time before the tune was 13.8. After the tune I went to Wichita , KS and ran a 12.6 with a half tank of gas. Im pretty sure I could have ran a 12.5 at a better track with a quarter tank of gas. So ya his tune is SOOOOOOOOO worth it.

hey mellon
i sent you a e-mail on your site but never got a response.
a couple quick questions
1. what do you think about getting tuned with the weather being cold now and
running the risk of having some kind of knock when the ambient air temps rise
again in the summer to over 100 degrees?
2. getting my veh set up to log with my UEGO and have a laptop with no serial
port. i am running vista and can't seem to find a serial to usb cable with a included driver that works with vista. tried the dynex one mentioned in another
thread but it has no vista driver. any suggestions?
thanks

It's possible that I just haven't gotten to it yet or it wasn't delivered for some reason... sorry about that.
It's a good idea to check the tune when the weather drastically changes...it might need some adjustment.
I have vista and used a serial to usb adapter from best buy, i'm not sure what brand it is but it came with a driver cd and works like a champ.

that's because it's on a section of my forum called "off topic" that only registered forum members can access:

here's the post:
This was done last night.
We didn't get to finish due to the battery in my laptop dying.
I will write more when I get back from autox, its now time for some breakfast.

I am so giggly like a little girl about getting my tune done. This has to be one of the toughest you're going to be doing... There are so many un-known variables to play with.
I have full confidence you can knock it out.
What's for breakfast?
Cheers-
Erich
