My Boomba T-body experience

My personal opinion is this TB is not worth it unless you use it at its full 75mm. To put a 75mm on a stock manifold with that bracket and reducer is just a waste and will make no more then a reg stock ported TB. Which has shown to be the case. When using it as a full 75 km "aftermarket manifolds" is where this TB will shine

ok i am back. the TB is doing well. what can i say its a TB. haha.
pro's
it works
no leaks ''only tested to 30 psi''
very well made
stock location based AIC and it works well.
cons
very stiff throttle peddle do to a stiff throttle body spring. not so much a Con but compared to a stock unit its pretty stiff.
the 2 nipples on top is uncalled for. i am thinking of having mine welded. no need for them and they create a possible leak.

So what is the benefit here going with the boomba and not a Mustang TB? I know the Boomba's don't use shaft seals and they use the stock TPS, but if you have to modify it this much I don't see how it's worth it. I paid $300 less for a BBK.

i have it bolted to a stock manifold and no tune, with a downpipe, catback, licp, and drop-in. fired up the first time, with NO idle issues at all. i love the stiff throttle pedal. with no tb seals, i dont have to worry about boost leaks from that. the only concern i have is looping the coolant hoses. it feels like my cylinder head is hotter now. no overheating or any thing, but weird. it was worth it to me. also, the adapter for the tb can be opened up, without touching the throttle body. or i can go to a full 75mm ( if i had an intake manifold.) i likes. and i still have the stocker sitting in a box for emergencies.

You are totally wrong Boomba Throttle Body has shaft seals. Each TB is tested at 70 psi and unlike any other TB on the market they don't leak (try this with BBK). It uses stock TPS and stock IAC so car acts like stock during engine warm up.

I have tested my boomba TB up to 45 PSI. I have it paired with a driven innovations intake manifold. there were no leaks, WAS afraid however the boost leak tester was going to shoot off and hit me in the ***** lol (had to test for boost leaks with front bumper off because of a front facing exhaust manifold)

They problem you had with the bolt holes not lining up I dont believe is an issue with the Boomba but more of an issue with the Magnus flange it was bolting too. I also had issues but with the 70mm S90 T-body.

Can this TB within time be susceptible to leaks at the shaft seals like the stocker?

Shaft leaks aren't really a huge deal. Even really leaky ones, you're talking <5whp on the dyno..
