Loaded up and ready to rock. Left the rain/street tires on given the forecast. I figure my first session on Thursday isn't until like 11am, so I have plenty of time to (happily) switch to Hoosiers. BUT, if it's wet, I need to throwdown an official lap to start working the grid strategy. My group consists of my class (TTA) and the 3 classes above me, TTS, TTU, & TTR respectively. Should be around 30-35 of us.
If you'd like to stay updated, I'll be tweeting as much as I can with relavant information starting Wed when I leave work to head the 450 miles to the famous Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. And hopefully nightly updates to the blog. Info is below...

Since running the 15w50 oil, oil temps have been much more consistent. I've been seeing a peak and hold of 275 pretty regularly.
Also, here's a link to my Nationals writeup. Best lap of 1:32.834 at Mid Ohio!

Got most of the NASA schedules for 2012.
But I don't have the 2012 NASA rules! So waiting on the rules to see where I should class the car for 2012. Looking at either staying in TTA or bumping up another class to TTS. There's an outside change I could cage the car too.
The car itself... well I did start it up last Friday and let it run for about 5min. All good as usual. I probably need to send in another oil sample if I get around to it. The run that's in there now was in for all of Nationals and the Road America trip! Seems like a lot, but in reality I think that's just 14 sessions altogether. Although it was a LOT of miles at Road America in those 6 sessions with a 4+ mile track!

Plans are well underway for the 2012 season. I've got the schedules, the rules and finally a plan to start out the season. I'm going to be a bit quiet on the details for now; as I usually am! But among some updates and changes, I just put in my full AMSOIL order for the season. Stay tuned.
Check out my blog (link in sig) for more details as I leak them out.

New installs for 2012
Installs for the 2012 season are well underway.
Given oil temps and oil pressures are always a concern, I decided to make an upgrade. There's a few vendors out there that make larger oil pans for the Evo to help with keeping the pressure up during hard G loads (especially right turns). Some have mixed reviews with fitment. However I found one vendor that modifies the stock oil pan so you know fitment won't be a problem.
The Buschur Racing baffled oil pan is now on the #929 Evo! Select the link below for more info. I'll have tracking oil temps and pressures as always and will report back on the hopeful benefits of this upgrade.

It was a fun and long trip 1500 miles roundtrip; about 1650 including the time in the Evo.

I'm not a pro, and sponsors do not pay my way; but they do help. Along with the folks at Buschur Racing, AMSOIL is a supporter of mine and I wanted give a shoutout to them and their help over the past few years as a recurring sponsor. I received my yearly shipment this weekend. 156+ lbs...
