So I have been running the car. I will have some logs tonight or tomorrow so I can compare the spoolup and power. I will turn the boost down to a previous log that I had and do my compare at 28psi.

The car does feel like it has a lot more pep. The car feels so much smoother. For me and my car it has been the best money I have spent on parts to date.
That isn't bad at all! I was expecting like a week or so for the turn around and I was thinking that would be reasonably quick.

Sounds like a nice winter purchase, since my car will be in storage in the next month or so.

Let's see the results!!

Have you experienced compressor surge on a stock turbo?

A ported cover will lower the efficiency slightly, so unless it is surging, its more for sound effects than anything else from what I know.

I did a bunch of compressor cover testing on my RS, I don't agree.

I had tons of Compressor Surge on the Stock IX Turbo.

I am not sure what the efficiency impact is from the Anit Surge Cover, however I can tell you that it has made my car much better to drive. The car is very smoother now like keystone. The part throttle compressor surge that I used to get is now all gone.

The response of the car is night and day, with all the parts.

The sound is a cool added bonus.

I am still working on getting my boost dialed in, my boost profile has changed and I am tuning it to get it to match a 28psi log from a few months ago. Once I get the PSI to match as close as I can I will put up a VDR. I also need to wait for a warm day so I can replicate the weather conditions.

After I a have done my compare, I am going to turn the boost up to 34psi and see what it will do. I am going to take it to a dyno sometime in November so I can see the real results. I am hoping to see 460-480whp on a dynojet.

Thanks for the great parts Buschur.

Which part? Efficiency, power?

Not in fighting mode, just curious.

spoolup is the exact same compared to my logs from 4 months ago on an MBC. I am EBC now, and it seems like I can get the car to spool faster with an MBC. My FP 25psi WGA is cracking open at like 14psi. I have been adjusting the preload, however now my car will creap to 26psi when I am running straight wastegate. So I am going to toss in the MBC and do an apples to apples compare.

So far the power is looking pretty good, with about 2psi less boost I am making the same power i was at 32psi. So I just need to get my boost stable, and then I will have real numbers.

So all of the parts added during this round were

MAP Version 2 Intake Manifold
Buschur Ported Exhaust Manifold
Buschur Ported Turbine
JMF O2 Dump
FP 25psi WGA
FP Anti Surge Cover

I was hoping to see 460-470whp consistantly at 30-31psi from these parts. Right now the car is about 450/450 at 29psi, with 0 changes to the tune, and the wave in my boost profile.

So adjust the preload on the WGA got my boost more stable, and helped to increase the spoolup by a huge amount.

So Tomorrow I am doing all sorts of testing and changing up parts.

Also this is still on the same 3" intake that I already had, even thought the FP Cover is 3.3", pretty sure it does not make any difference at all.

So I am pretty sure that I am just going to have to put cams in the car. It just seems like that is what the car wants.

Looks like dog crap! No reason to even touch this area of the waste gate port either. SMH $200 for this is robbery.
