I just got back from the dyno day (took me 10 hours to get home )

05 MR with stage 1++

on 93 pump 300.6 awhp and 280 tq

I'm happy, car pulls very well

I will be watching the stage 2 (Vishnu) and if things don’t go well I will have to put stock turbo on with 10.5 housing and 272 cams before the next dyno day.

Shiv I don’t know why I am throwing code PO172 but I think it has something to so with the forge BOV so far. I have no air leaks or boost leak but I do have BOV surging and that might cause the issue so let me know what you think.

I did not make the power I was hoping for and surprising I made exact same power I made in Cali on 91 gas and stock cat. I have no explanation but I will be changing the kit soon.

Andrew thanks for your great help and for your great work.

Nothing to figure out, I just want the PO172 code to go away. Its not like it’s not fast but it's disappointing for sure. I will have to leave it a lone for a little while as I have to focus on a new job I am getting. I just want to make sure it's running fine that's all.

What do you think is triggering the system too rich code? I don't think the BOV would do that unless it is VTA.

It looks like the same #s you put down at Vishnu awhile back. No additional mods???

Exactly, I don’t know what’s causing my ECU to see the rich condition. I called Shiv and he said I might have a boost leak but I spent 2 hrs last night under and over the car looking for every hose on the car and I found nothing (I am still boosting my normal 23 PSI holding). I asked Shiv about a copy of my F/A graph because I have not received a copy (but what do I know). He said that the maps have not been touched (original from Cali) which is weird to me as I thought 93 gas will make a bit more power (oh well it might be the turbo). I don’t care about the numbers as I believe it’s a bit decent but I just want it to run right. On the other hand I will see Shiv next week in NJ so it's not an issue here (I am sure he will do whatever he can to solve my problem).


Off to DC for my big show see ya guys.

I finally found a bypass valve....not from a dealership (nearest instock is in Colorado), but from a guy on nasioc. I'm waiting for him to take a break so i can get it. Guy works at a hospital.
