Dyno results: My stage 1+

Well, I finally got my stage 1+ installed and tuned last week. I can't even express how nice this setup feels. I am very impressed with the power the car makes. Andrew did a great job with my car and I can't think him enough. I did this on shell 93oct.

current mods:
Xede and Xede flash
BR 3" TBE (catless)
injen intake and IC piping
Hks 272 cams IN/Ex
Vishnu cam gears (-3,-3 I think)
walbro 255lph fuel pump.

video of the car at the track http://www.chadsevo.com/My%20Evo/My%...rack1_0001.wmv

here are the graphs. (click to enlarge)

Here's a back to back run of the final tune.

Here's the AFR and boost. it was tuned nice an safe. with power some power left on the table.

this is a comparison of my old stage 0+ and my new stage 1+

here's a graph with the afr's a little leaner, I think he said they where in the low 11:1 area. I can't remember exactly what Andrew said they where on this pass, but safety and reliablity it my main concern. So like I said. there's a little power left on the table, but a peak number really doesn't mean much to me.

I would like to maybe add a 10.5 hotside to the equation, but money, and a stock clutch are holding me back from that right now. I doubt it would bother the stock clutch on pump gas, but my next trip back to Dyno4mance is gonna include a race gas map. So, i'm pretty sure the stock clutch wouldn't agree with that amount of power. I am incredibly happy with the power and performance of the car. If the weather holds out. I'm gonna try to make it to the track(1/8th mile) tonight and see what the car and my self are capable of. I would expect 7.8's atleast, but I'm no professional driver. So, will see. If I go tonight I'll have a friend video it and I'll try to post it up tonight or tomorrow.

I really would like to upgrade the stock turbo with the 3037 setup that vishnu uses. I'm hoping the new turbo adapter setup will be realised and work well, but we'll leave that to another thread.

Those are better numbers than my 100oct numbers! I'm only at 285 on 100! Same basic setup as you.

I need a 10.5 and meth!

I would like to see what a 10.5 would do on my car. Meth is cool, but I'm not comfortable with any of the current setup's. I could only image what a 10.5+110 would do. I think I could safely reach 325-330whp, but only time will tell.

Hey Chad, it seems that my 272s worked out pretty darn well for you. A gain of 50whp and 40 ft/lbs is considerable to say the least!!

I hope you enjoy it!

Picking up 50whp with cams and gears is pretty good. I wonder if his particular combination of 'plus' stuff contributed some.
