Version 1.0 finalized

pyXede 1.0 is finished and marked stable. Enjoy. There'll always be more bugs, but hopefully I've stamped out the big ones. Downloads and stuff are here:

crusin: Yeah, that data looks pretty funky. Was it highway type driving or something? I found it damn near impossible to try to get a dyno plot of anything but WOT.

Out of sheer masochism, I've posted up a zip file of a "windows build" -- a completely self contained application and libraries.

In other news, I've been working on 2.0 for a while now. Notable features include "real" dyno run managment for generating multirun plots and evaluating peaks, area under the curve, etc. I have an XML car schema for dyno calibration. I also added access to the python runtime itself so I can script things (aptly named The Master Control Program )

Other things that I'm thinking about, but might fall through:

1) mapping -- I got this half working, but i'm not comfortable letting other people have the code yet.
2) networking -- I still doubt its usefulness, but if i get time it would be nice to have the datalogging analysis code be network transparant.
3) when SMART get's finalized, I'll add support for datalogging from the wideband

Right on donour! Awesome stuff. Now for more testing yipee!

donour: that plot was made on a flat road from a 3rd gear pull starting real low in rpms (1500rpms) then smashing the pedal until dyno run was made.

I have a bit of interesting dyno smoothing research for everybody.

The new method should be available in the next release of pyxede.

Ok, so i've not exactly been idle these past few weeks. I did quite a bit of research about porting this to the PSP, but it doesn't look like that is going to be technically feasible (despite excellent progress from the PSP homebrew community).

Here's a super big screenshot that displays some forthcoming features. As mentioned before, multiplots are supported. In addition, there is integrated plotting with matplotlib. Notice that dyno run management is improved significantly. Those drop menus at the top have lots of features like data smoothing, data trimming, and soon power calibration.

For you people who like to have your applications scriptable, one of the (edit: ) great all time villians has returned -- the Master Control Program. Do _you_ believe in users?

Not one to leave things hanging for too long, here's another screen shot with wideband A/F, knock sensor, and timing shift, all in the SMART-style.
