If were lucky, there will be both a rabbit and a 3071 setup at the SoCal Vishnu dyno day on July 10th. However, the 3071 will be an AMS kit that will be installed on my car.

I don't think anyone will have the Vishnu Stage 2 for this day...

I don't think FP would release a turbo unless they were satisfied with it. I expect this to stay a rabbit.

I WILL HAVE the White Rabbit. No cams, though...

atlvalet, I think you should get some cams to maximize the turbo. Buddy clubs are relatively cheap and it will help us all with the power potential of the turbo.

Stop trying to seduce me to the darkside

I wanted a set-up that looks stock. Now I have to put in a fuel pump and injectors. I don't need to "maximize" things right now.

My next mod after this is to learn how to drive this darn car property. I wasn't paying attention yesterday and I almost experienced lift throttle oversteer getting onto the 101 (shifting from 2nd to 3rd). The car got real light for a second. I would have felt like one of those 18 year old kids who wrecks their Evo the first week.

Cams will make this too much car for me in a track situation. For now, not cams. I ain't takin' the valve cover off. You guys are the worst Peer pressure sucks

I'm in the same situation as you, the car has always run perfectly, was broken in properly and has never burnt a drop of oil. With all the bad cam installations around and "rumors" of valvetrain wear I'd prefer to make in the >350whp without cams if possible. Seemingly it will be considered to be possible soon.

I'm thinking of getting the 660s Tym mentioned, although the Buschur 680s are another consideration. I'm also contemplating dropping my car off at RRE for the no name clutch in the next few weeks.

That set up with alky will be insane numbers. Way too much car for me though. I think a new clutch is in your future

Also, FYI, I will have a Buschur coated/ported stock exhaust mani on my car.

You should buy Ludikraut cams, I sure he will let them go for less. As far as learning how to drive the car properly, have you learned to just drive it with the stock setup because I can tell you that most people have trouble just doing that when it comes to the unmodified Evo.

As far as power goes, all you need to do is run your 91 octane map when you go to the track. When you start feeling confident, you could then up the octane to 100 to start kicking some ****.

I can promise that you will be pissed off once you see people buying white rabbit turbos and making more power than you with just a set of cams. Then you will be trying to play catch up with them...

You're trying to convince yourself... no one here's buying it. You could argue "it's too much car" right now. Cams will help overall turbo performance , not just power. If your broke because of buying a new turbo before buying less glamorous cams, I would belive you.
