Its the WG bolts. They are easy to reach but the manifold needs to be taken off no big deal

larry said the easiest way to tighten the WG bolts is to cut an allen wrench so it fits in there better.

As David said, you can remove the manifold to get at them. Or you can remove radiator. But realistically, the whole kit (wastegate bolts and all) should get tightened up before it is installed in the car. It is also best to use NO gaskets on the wastegate flanges since they will inevitably blow out in time and kill spool up. With metal-on-metal contact, and tight torque, you won't have to mess with those bolts ever again.

680cc injectors. Good for 30psi/500whp/race gas (awd dynojet) applications. And will still idle smoothly and sniff clean at a 900rpm idle. Today, on TT dynojet, a 30R stg 2 set-up made 375whp on 91oct gas. 400+whp on 100oct and nearly 460whp on 109 unleaded.

Shiv, would you say then on your dyno with 93(or your 91) with alk inj would be able to produce over 430 whp, or say 460 whp on a dyno jet? Approximations are fine .

Typically, on 91 and meth, we can get equivalent power to using 100oct (if not a bit more.) So I don't think seeing 430whp should be a problem. 460whp is nearling the hp limit of the turbo so it may not be a good idea to run a 91/meth setup that hard.

Rarely will we ever get to the point of having the tubular headers in stock. It will be a order-and-wait kinda thing. Not 3 months anymore. But certainly a few weeks. You will not believe the amount of time involved in making one. That's one reason we came out with the stage 2 since wait times will should always be reasonable. Usually, the bottleneck is Garret, not the parts of the kit we make.

The funny thing is, your kit looks just about identical to atp's kit.
Your adapter piece is basically what atp's houising is, even the dump tube is a slipfit to the downpipe. Im surprised no one else has noticed the simularities.
I definitely dont see how Vishnu's kit could dominate atp's kit, wheres the difference(besides being twice the cost).

and yet, it does. your "visual comparison" is almost as reliable as a "butt-dyno"

Just got back from TT and had the wastegate buttoned up. Alfred and Chris retuned the car. Picked-up 40whp on the 91 map and a few more on the others maps...and spool up 600 rpm earlier (about 12 psi) at 3800 rpm. The kit holds power to the redline.

Dyno graphs will probably be up tomorrow. When they come up, look at how many rpm Chris starts the run at and how fast the turbo jumps.

The ATP kit could throw down when needed, but the power band was narrower and it wasn't put together quite as well as this one. However, peak hp was probably close to this kit.

The Stage 2 is a bit quieter and with the upper IC hard pipe, the bov sounds like a vta.

The workmanship is awsome on this kit.

I've only driven it under sleep deprivation so I'll need a little more seat time to really compare the differences.

I could see Vishnu should prepping this kit next spring with a clutch, exhaust, cams, the upcoming coilovers, Ferodos, sway bar, undertray, Xede V3 SMART, for a Car and Driver cameo. It looks very stock, clean, and sounds relatively quiet. It will be a supercar slayer. A very nice reliable compromise to the tubular manifold.

Some of us only want to go so far... .

So here it is, 4k for everything, what do you guys think?

I personally was hoping for a kit closer to 3500 or so being that it does not include a full manifold (I know it includes the collar) but to be honest considering the sort of work that goes into the Vishnu Product line it will probably be well worth it.....

Scorke
You get an upper IC pipe and injectors. Back them out and there's your $3500.

I'm wiped. It was 100 degrees at TT today.

Mad props to Chris and Alfred, David, Dustin, Calvin, Isaac, Kim, and Shiv............... and SSSmmmmmmmmmmmmoggy!
